What a gorgeous spot! Breakfast was AMAZING and the service was really friendly and efficient. Great little shop on site so we could stock up before heading back out on the boat. The friendly donkeys and mischievous goats were just the icing on the cake! Highly recommend this little hidden gem.

Absolutely flawless full English breakfast. Really nice coffee. Welcoming staff. Surrounded by friendly donkeys and goats, cheeping birds in the Avery. Nice little souvenir shop to grab a keepsake. Gave five stars because you can't put 6. Thanks

What a wonderful place to visit, and moor up. The owners are really nice polite people, will a lovely warm welcome, lots of choice in the shop and prices are really good. The way the look after all the animals is amazing and so caring. You must visit you will love it. We moored up for the night, left the next morning, but came back that day to stay again. Please go there and support the animals they take care of. Nice people nice place.

Work in progress - Last stop to top up on supplies before Great Yarmouth. The windmill is a beautiful and the tea shop was quaint with a decent menu that considers a vegan diet. The gift shop was well stocked with various trinkets and gifts. The staff here have clearly invested in the tea rooms and gift shop which will hopefully drive profits for the upkeep and development of the site. I had asked to use the toilets but was told quite curtly that they were not working. I felt this was a slight let down as the customer service up to this point was perfect. I also felt the petting zoo was fairly underwhelming and was slightly appalled to see the temporary (I hope it was temporary) cage set up for the peacocks. We donated some money for the upkeep of animals and I hope that future developments will turn this fairly disorganised/unkempt part of the site into something more harmonious with the landscape and animals alike. My favourite part of the site was the aviary that had been hand built. It was large enough for the birds and has inspired both my son and I for a future build project in our own garden.

We visited Stracey Arms Mill by car for a coffee whilst on holiday with our two children and two lurchers. I felt at home as soon as we were greeted by a little chihuahua at the gate. The coffee was amazing and the views were breathtaking. The icing on the cake was the free roaming friendly animals in the adjacent field who we had lots of cuddles with. They all looked extremely happy well cared for. The staff were all super friendly and we had a lovely long chat with them. They even warmed up my coffee for me because I was so long looking at the animals. There are few places where I feel completely at peace and Stracey Arms Mill was one of them. It was definitely a highlight of our holiday. Well worth a visit either by boat or by car.

I have no idea how anyone can say this is "work in progress".

The shop and cafe are absolutely fabulous, goats, peacocks, small avery all for you to enjoy and most importantly an extremely friendly and welcoming atmosphere from the owner and the girls.

Food was great and the shop has basic groceries along with a selection of souvenirs for both young and old. The windmill has to be one of the best in the area in terms of renovated condition and just awaiting its sails.

What an absolute cracking find. If you are traveling by, pop in even if just for a brew you won't regret it.

Fabulous fabulous fabulous a true British gem.
