Fountain Cafe

Don’t fall for the Google maps high rate. I asked for a cappuccino and I could not drink more than a small sip. It was horrible, never had such a bad coffee in the morning.
English breakfast quantity wise was great, but it was horrible in freshness and quality. See photo.

Excellent cafe. Toasties, sandwiches and rolls all fresh to order. Bigger meals available as well. Thoroughly recommend.

Friendly service and a very solid fry up. I only got veggie items on the build your own breakfast menu, and still got a full plate of food (which is more than most places do). Would absolutely go again if I'm ever in the area.

Maria posting . Took my 2 grandchildren in after school . Brilliant we gem . All the locals no this place . Staff were great it has a very relaxing atmosphere and no rushing . They have 1 toilet very clean . The only down fall is no ice cream . So if that's my only moan i think i can highly recommend Fountain cafe to anyone needing good hot food . So family friendly. Thank you to all the staff

Lovely cafe… we wanted to go somewhere for brunch/lunch, Balloch have very few places for lunch, couple are very expensive, like £8-10 for sandwich, the rest don’t have anything I would like. That cafe is pretty outside with stained glass on the windows, basic inside but nice enough. Food was good for the value which was quite cheap. Range bagels, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, paninis, rolls and all day breakfast, some sweet treats too, coffee latte was good too. Highly recommend if you fancy supporting local businesses rather than expensive chain places

Great local place for some decent food staff are friendly and welcoming disabled access and toilet there aswell, best all day breakfast in the shire absolutely brilliant, coffee was great aswell ,I highly recommend the fountain Cafe as a great place to eat ,eat local support local. Great value for money
