Castleton Farm Shop

A fine place to stop off on the way North , plenty of room with a large playground for the kiddies out the back and a lovely farm shop to wander about. Service was quick and the food was excellent ,I had the Balmoral chicken wrap while the gf had the fish and chips which she couldnt finish as it was so large , both meals were washed down with some iced latte frappe's

The service was lovely. The food was delicious and the strawberries were the sweetest we’ve ever had. We dined outside in the sunshine, and there was a fantastic playground for the kids, right next to the farm. They have a well deserved reputation!

Superb lunch then a tour of the farm looking around the strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and cherries. Definitely worth a visit, burger was lovely.

By far my favorite restaurant in Scotland. Excellent food, fruit and veg were perfect, friendly staff and seasonal specials made this a great find. I had a gingerbread latte and a chicken wrap as well as soup that was delicious. Dessert was also lovely (a meringue with custard and fresh fruit) and there is a large selection. Great little gift shop as well!

Really good farm shop with a great cafe/restaurant attached. The fruit farm produce is brilliant and we always get the mixed castleton smoothie. The cafe has a good menu and there are always specials on as well.

Fantastic place and beautiful setting especially the conservatory dining area. An outdoor play area for kids when they are done dining. Great staff and good service. The Steak Baguette with Chips was phenomenal. I would definitely be back again.

Popped in for a quick cuppa. Tempted by the delicious cakes! We shared a strawberry tart and the waitress kindly brought us a knife and extra plate. Lovely friendly service and a pleasant place for tea.
