Perfect place to stop for lunch before visiting Loch Leven. Delicious food, amazing shop with plenty of local products and a delightful view of the Loch from the cafe' veranda.

Online menu was easy to view but we had to go in and order as it wasn't working to pay for some reason.
Good quality, fresh, hot food and drinks.
Shop has a large variety of items and local produce.

Great stop in-between a walking visit around Loch Leven. Really nice coffee! Cakes looked great but didn't order anything but drinks.

Had a lovely afternoon here..so much to do and see.. the shop is great ..there is so much to look at and buy..cards, books, toys, kitchen ware, confectionery, candles, ornaments.lost of food, alcohol.. to name but a few..the Larder Cafe is table service.. food is lovely.. great choice ..also another cafe you can eat inside or outside in the Canopy Cafe fully covered and heated ..dogs are allowed there..the view is amazing .. there's a walk you can do round the lock or you can bike it..plenty room for the kids to run about and have fun ..picnic tables there as well ..there are toilets.. very popular place ..the staff are very polite and helpful ..well worth a visit .. Plenty of parking ..

Finally made it to this beautiful place, the surrounding is just stunning and even the drive from Glasgow was absolutely divine. We got there for about one o'clock and most of the food served in the dog friendly bit was sold out, that was a bit of a shame. The children's play ground is so well kept and there is a walk around that can entertain your dog, if you don't have kids. I would like to go back to try the restaurant next time and to take a proper look at the shop, it seemed really wonderful. Thumbs up from me!

I stopped for a quick lunch
The shop is very well equipped with food products of niche and lots of them
Personnel is respectful and overall is always busy
I’ve had an espresso After a nice salad in the restaurant and that wasn’t special
It was like water but I don’t think they are selling many espresso in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
The lady who made the bill made a mistake
Charged me of 26,00£ instead of £10,00
I had to tell her otherwise she continued to bring all the money she v
Could
I guess was a genuine mistake
No receipt was released and I paid cash
I give 5 stars because to run a place like this with such an incredible assortment of nice products is very nice to have here
And because overall as I said the staff was nice
I met 4 of them
The only person that wasn’t 100% was in fact the lady whom overcharged the bill
She was just working , hardly smiling
But hey
We are human not always we are up ⬆️
I think is 5 stars
Having been there already 3 times

Cheers

Lovely place, beautiful setting, great coffee and scrumptious cakes. Despite some previous reviews it is definitely dog friendly outside, large covered area with heaters and plenty of water bowls. Dogs are not allowed inside though.

Very big centre with great products, although i felt the prices were rather on the high side compared to similar places i have been to but they do have a very big range of products and if you are looking for an unusual gift, there is something for everyone.
Nice cafe with very tasty food.
Plenty of free car parking.
Its a nice place to stop for a coffee while hiking or driving around the loch.
