Nice little cafe that serves good coffee and great cake and its dog friendly.Theres plenty of space in or outdoors and theres a small carpark. Its only a short walk away from the canal, great photo opportunities here of the bridge and to the centre of chirk.

Just finished the gorgeous mid-week roast it was beautiful! Couldn't fault it and the value of money was brilliant £15 and it filled 4 of us. Gorgeous and will defiantly be ordering more.

A very nice lady (who knew her local cafes) sent us here saying the cakes are nice. They are, but forget the cakes. They sell a sausage roll as large as a baby’s arm and chips with cheese and gravy!!! Ooo heaven is in Wales; who knew. It was busy and the staff were polite, friendly and efficient. Lovely little business. Totally worth a stop for lunch.

A decent enough selection of cakes, nice coffee and very friendly service. It was just a little bit slow.

Nice cafe with plenty of seating both inside and out, great food selection, reasonable price. Accessible toilets, car parking. Close to Chirk aqueduct

Usually a good place to stop off for a lunch but NOT this last Saturday. My friend and I have been a few times , however, this time it was the worst we have experienced. I ordered the poutine which I have eaten before at Cafe Wylfa but it was very poor, cold cheese and watery gravy, not the rich gravy advertised which I ate the last time we were there with melted cheese. My friend ordered a cheese jacket potato, which when arrived, she refused it immediately as it hardly covered half the plate. A small potato with a couple of cold cheese slices plus a spoonful chopped cucumber and tomatoes. Not even a proper salad. Costing £7.25. She swopped it for two slices of Cooked ham, 2 eggs, chips and a spoonful of chopped cucumber and tomatoes. Much better value for money than the small jacket and cheese they first offered. Which would you prefer for same price.? However, it has put us off going back and will not dine there again.

We have just enjoyed a fabulous Sunday lunch, 3 courses for only £18p/h.
I'm quite a picky person and can usually find fault somewhere - not here though! Not only good value but plenty of it. I obviously had room for dessert - himself had his to go!
Highly recommend paying a visit if you are in the area!

This community cafe is popular and it is easy to see why. Pleasant hard working staff serving up lovely food from scones and tray bakes to Sunday lunches. I had a roast beef Sunday lunch with all the trimmings. Absolutely superb. I decided to ring and book in advance. Cost is £5 deducted from your bill even you arrive and order. Lots of care taken over Covid-19 measures in late June 2021. Lots of parking space and outdoor seating. Just a short stroll from the aqueduct and viaduct.
