Cafe Orient Express

Decided to breakfast here after reading the reviews. Word of caution this business is CASH ONLY which I discovered when it came to settle the bill. There is a sign in the doorway but it 7s small and easily missed. Service is adequate, though communication isn't a strong point with one or two little misunderstandings. The food is good, good size portions but nor overacting, well cooked and presented. The veggie sausages were made with vegetables, peas, sweetcorn, rather than textured protein only. The bacon and sausages my partner had were 5asty and if reasonable quality. Prices are fair and the coffee is good.

Breakfast at its best!

Have been here several times. Excellent menu. Absolutely love the food and service with a smile. It is a very well run cafe which is always busy and deservedly so. The prices are also very good and spotless. Families and dogs are very welcome. Definitely one of my favourite places to visit. We'll done. Keep up the good work 👏

We went in at opening time for breakfast, no welcome or anything but not essential so shurgged it off. We sat down and I went to the till and kindly asked for a highchair. One was brought out which was found to be filthy. I went back and asked for a cloth to clean it. The woman cleaned it for us. We then tried putting our son in the chair when we discovered the straps were broken and he almost slipped through as a result. The woman could see our struggle but still showed no interest and seemed annoyed we didn't want a dirty highchair. We took him out and I explained the straps were broken and it was unsafe which was met with a blank expression. Worth noting we were the only customers at this point. We went next door to The Loaf and had an amazing breakfast.

I don't even know where to start!!! Friendly staff, friendly service, cute setting amazing food.
We was first timers in Wales and looking for a halal place. Trusting Google we went into this cafe and we wasn't disappointed the from beginning to end.

Came for breakfast with my wife and child and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was great and the place was clean. Will be coming back. Also presentation was lovely

We arrived at lunchtime on our bikes and although it was busy we were able to get a table outside. Coffee ☕ was good, the food excellent and prices reasonable. Would have given 5⭐ but we waited quite a long time for our food (it was busy) Veggie friendly and contactless payment.
