Lovely place for a quick coffee and breakfast roll before a walk. Tasty food and coffee and friendly service. Dog friendly too!

Very nice All Day Breakfast. Clean and tidy place with helpful, friendly staff. Great to stop off after walking the dog.

There's often a slow moving queue and then a long wait for food. Condiments and napkins are kept behind the counter upon request which is highly annoying. One occasion I asked for a teaspoon for my 3yr old to eat her ice cream and initially I was refused since there's a tiny bit of plastic in the lid which can serve as a spoon. It's hard enough for an adult to use let alone a toddler do I didn't think it unreasonable. She did give me one reluctantly with a filthy look. If only they put cutlery, napkins etc our for people to help themselves staff wouldn't be bothered by trivial requests. The staff do look like they are working hard so I think it's poor processes and procedures (management) letting them down.

Awful service. Three ladies working there continued to have a conversation whilst I was waiting in the queue to buy 2 cokes. Eventually got served, no eye contact and charged me £6 for 2 cokes. Management need to rethink who they employ in Customer service roles.

The cafe board said service with a smile.
Not correct. Asked for extra tea bag in my pot of tea and was told I would be charged for extra pot of tea in rude way.
Also service not with a smile.

It pains me to write this, we have been frequent and loyal customers for decades but the service in the last 6 months has been dire. Queues for 30+ minutes only to be told when you reach the counter they are not serving anymore food as they are too behind with orders (has happened on 2 separate occasions) or they have run out of everything (again more than once unfortunately). If you can order, the waiting time is very long (it has never been quick but recently has been dire). Please get it sorted out, we used to love coming in for a lunch with the kids and grandparents but it’s now on our list to avoid sadly.

Terrible place, went there for the Xmas menu and was told they wer to busy to make the baguette. Five people in there ,two serving hows that work.two busy chatting,so walked out
