The most awful service. Kept waiting at the counter to be served. Passed over several times. They refused to let us have our drinks until our meal was ready, because they said they were "busy".

Part of our meal didn't arrive until after we had finished eating the rest of the meal

Awful service. . . . nice food once it finally arrived

It's located right next to the abbey which makes it a good place to sit out side and take in the views. Inside it's quite small with maybe 6 or 7 tables. I've been a couple of times and there always a place to sit. This is probably due to the quality of the food which I can only describe at average at best. It appears to be well maintained and very clean it's just the food quality that lets it down. Also had a sign up saying cash only not sure if that's permanent or a temporary set back.

Nice menu with range of hot/cold drinks available. Ice cream cabinet serving variety of flavours. Seating area inside/out. Particularly nice on a dry day to sit outside as the setting is lovely. View of Greenfield Abbey etc. Disabled access to the site from nearby parking. Disabled access good in the cafe itself - although I did not check out toilet facilities. Lovely walks around and about the cafe (short or long). Other activities on hand so please google as it’s a little gem of a visit for outdoor active types. Staff lovely some Welsh English bilingual. It deserves to do well so spread the word .
