Found this place for lunch and had a hearty fill up, of food and drink. The place was just about full up outside and in so I arrived just in time really. The staff were a little rushed, but I got my order reasonably quickly considering.

My friends and I came here for lunch and as our first time in Wales, we did not know what we wanted to eat. We were intrigued by the outdoor seating accompanied by the beautiful views and the piano music. I got the blackened salmon and it was delicious.

The hot food was very good, the packed sandwiches not so much. Definitely a place to sit and eat.

Oh dear. Where do I start? So admittedly the food was delicious, however, 20 mins to have our order taken. We were right by the till & they still struggled to acknowledge us. The staff seemed to be stressed as they were obviously short staffed. I asked one of the ladies could she take my order. She said 'no' as she already had an order on her note pad. Whats all that about? Not heard of turning the page over. Customers were clearing the tables themselves as staff walked from kitchen to serve food then back again empty handed. Wouldn't you think efficiency in a busy establishment would help? Never do a journey empty handed! Our meals came but our hot drinks only came when we'd finished our meals. I'll be honest we should have just walked out but you wait in hope that service would get better, it didnt!!! From what we saw opposite the till many customers did walk out. If you're short staffed then reduce your tables.

Great breakfast with all good quality ingredients, can imagine it will be full to capacity in summer, service was very quick, we were first in about 10.30am by 11am it was filling up, nothing was too much trouble, no WiFi if that's important to you, would recommend it as it's quite close to the bridge, I'd consider going out of my way to go again,

I thought the service and the food were excellent, we ordered the vegan breakfast and the vegetarian breakfast and a few coffees.
The service was very friendly, they got a little mixed up as we had only ordered 2 breakfasts and there were 3 of us ( I think they just wanted to make sure everything was right) but the food didn't take too long and it was worth the wait, the coffee was also excellent. The price was good too for such a good breakfast. We will definitely return.

Disclaimer *I understand that there are staffing shortages at restaurants* Another group of customers arrived after me, and their order was taken first. I ordered a ham & tomato sandwich with mayo on the side, and a side salad. The staff put mayo on the sandwich, and forgot the tomato. Also, my side salad had rotting leaves in it. After I had finished my sandwich, I asked for the check, only to find out 20 minutes later that you pay at the counter. The staff clearly need more training. I was promised a free salad if I came back the next day, but I won't be in town.
