Muffin Break Cardiff

Alway walk past and fancy the cakes on show as they always look so fresh and have a variety of different flavours. I came today and had some different ones to takeaway. I am very disappointed, the cakes taste awful and really dry. For nearly £4 a cake you would expect them to be a certain standard. We have had to throw them in the bin. Would not recommend.

Me and my friend ordered tea and hot chocolate,cake and teacake. When speaking man behind counter he didn't evenknow what tea cake was. After sitting down eating in half hour waited fot our drinks. Then when asked about drinks he said he forgot 🙄 so after he gave use out drinks my friend drank her hot chocolate and it was stone cold won't go there again really disappointed

Nice place to get a coffee, sandwich and muffin. Plenty of places to sit although can be a tad cold on the front. Friendly staff.

Friendly staff and there seemed to be plenty of them. A little wait for my hot drink but I thibk the coffee maker may have been new or training.
Coconut and lemon muffin was lovely, not full of flavour like i expected but nice all the same - what made it better was it was a little warm.

I tried the Terry's chocolate orange hot chocolate, glad I went medium as it was huge. Great taste tho!!

A good place to eat for a snack. Competitive prices and good quality food. You can get a full breakfast for £7.50 which is really competitive. Quick service and friendly staff.

The muffin I chose was dry and tasteless , I couldn't even finish it. Although my half shot latte was one of the best I've had, creamy, hot and just the right amount of coffee (personal choice). The poor staff were rushed off their feet and because of location I didn't take my coat off, quite chilly. Would deffo have a drink there again but I'll pass on the muffin.

Blueberry muffin and black earl grey tea were just the pick you up I needed! Young man server was quick, pleasant and helpful. Bench
seat very comfy.

The muffins were good but over priced 3.5 pounds for a muffin, the coffee was good and we ordered a chocolate shake that was thin as chocolate milk.
