My favourite place in Bangor for breakfast food, we go here regularly.

The price is great for the portions you get, they are huge! The menu is extensive and can accommodate any dietary requirements, surprising there are many vegan options.

My only quarrel is that the food can be too oily, which may not be an issue for other people, so don't let it put you off.

The atmosphere inside is also great, with nice music playing in the background, not too loud.

Delicious cooked breakfasts, loads for your money and lovely staff. Would definitely come again (need to try one of the milkshakes they looked great). Huge menu would definitely be a good option for when hungover too!

Usually have an excellent breakfast there. However, clearly hung over girl at the counter forgot my order - twice - then 45 minutes later came over with it boxed up. Ate a few bites of greasy, burnt everything and gave up. Just glad I didn't have to pay for what has always been great food each and every time I've been there bar this one.

Would recommend hiring competent staff.

Stopped off at this cafe on recommendation en route home, place absolutely jumping , but managed to get a table. Massive breakfast in early afternoon really ticked the box, all freshly cooked and served up by super busy staff with great service. Thanks for the tip Billy

Popped into Mike’s Bites for a quick breakfast with 3 friends. The order being 3 sets of pancakes and bacon and 1 salmon and scrambled egg. All very simple orders and as the establishment was at what you’d consider a normal level of busyness I think a 15 min wait would be the maximum you could expect. Instead we waited for 1 hour and were presented with some very underwhelming food and no mention of an apology for the wait.
The kitchen appears to be poorly run and the quality of the food confirms this. I’d recommend anywhere but here.

Will start by saying the food itself has always been good here over the years.

Planned a 3 day cycle ride to Mike's with the goal of watching a mate take on the greedy B, when we finally arrived they wouldn't cook it saying there'd be no food left for other customers (?) even though it wasn't even close to busy and it's about the same amount of food as two big breakfasts anyway... absolutely gutted.

What a wonderful cute little cubby hole with excellent food and service, and a cosy atmosphere with reasonable prices and lots of bang for your buck. The portion sizes are very very respectable. First stop for any brunch desires

Solid breakfast. Went there recently, having not been there for years. It hasn’t changed a bit, good food for a good price and tonnes of things to try.
