Cafe Bistro 73

Cosy, classy, inviting and friendly. Cafe Bistro 73 is a gem of a place, offering a range of drinks, cakes and food (I sampled some pop up food from Reaper Food which was delicious). They also have live music on every Wednesday evening. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was disappointing, nothing to write home about. The beans were BBQ flavoured and tasted strangely sweet! Enjoy if you decide to go. Just giving you a heads up! ask for normal baked beans. The service 😅 was slow as we waited 30 mins for our breakfast and eventually I managed to get his attention to request for normal beans. It came out as soon as we'd finished our breakfasts and got up to pay at the counter. It seemed like we were bothering the owner from the start when the order was being taken. As soon as our breakfasts arrived the owner turned away from us and ignored us from asking for condiments. Instead catching up with his friends. It was tricky to catch his attention. Make of it what you will! Enjoy if you do decide to go!

I've been here for brunch, an evening meal with cocktails and checked out their open mic night that's on every Wednesday. Fantastic place, great food, great cocktails and even better trendy but very friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended 👌

Best cafe in Roath. Perfect for brunch or evening drinks - there’s usually something going on: live music, spoken word, chess club!

The food is amazinggg. It’s also dog friendly which is a bonus!

I love this place. My first impression walking in was how clean and tidy it was. The food was delicious, so was the coffee. Generous portions and very good prices. The owner was super friendly, welcoming and kind. We enjoyed chatting with her. Will definitely be back soon
