Local 'tourist' from only a few miles away (a Swansea lad).

Nice gardens overall; reasonably well maintained. The ponds were not though - caked with algae and clearly haven't had any attention for years. Even the three ducks I saw looked sad.

With that said, everything else looked fine - and it was a relaxing hour or so walk across the whole of the site. Plenty of photos taken which I will cherish. Apart from the pond photos of course, which I will probably delete.

Went today with my friend for a pot of tea. The weather was lovely so we sat outside in the gardens. It is a wonderful place with wonderful gardens.( I went for a wonder in my electric Wheelchair) Very family friendly and if you love Cream teas they do lovely ones here. BEDWELLTY HOUSE IS VERY WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY TOO.

Lovely scenic quite park. You can walk around here for hours and enjoy the peace and quiet. There are lots of interesting points to see such as the bandstand, devils arch, the biggest piece of coal and the war memorial.
The ponds could definitely do with being cleaned and updated though which is a shame.
The house itself is beautiful inside and out. Great architecture. Lovely tea rooms although slightly expensive. A beautiful place to visit if you need to have a relaxing walk or a few hours peace and quiet.

My Mum & I went to hear a history talk. The talk was brilliant and we really enjoyed it. Afterwards we went to the coffee shop. We felt totally relaxed and enjoyed a cappuccino and chocolate bar. The staff were lovely and really helpful. We always feel really welcome when we come here and are hoping to bring my Sister next time.

Great park, definitely would go there again!
Great trees, plants and sculptures.
Not been in the house because of Covid.
We couldn't park near the park, (only for disabled parking facilities) Had coffee, cake and sandwiches, which were lovely.

I booked the louby lou's elf hunt experience for my two grandsons who are 7 and 5. They both loved it. We were asked to meet outside the main entrance of Bedwelty house. We were greeted by elf Jolly, who then handed us over to elf Jingle. All in all there was a group of around 20 children, plus adults. She then took us around the park looking for elf buddy. The story and costumes were great, they kept the children grasped and fully entertained. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. I think the adults might have enjoyed it a bit more than the kids 😉

My son and daughter-in-law had their wedding reception here last Tuesday. The management was awesome - Lewis and Helen were outstanding. I believe we had the best venue in Wales. You won’t beat this venue for value, service, beautiful grounds. The food was the best I’ve had - nothing was too much trouble. All the wedding party had nothing but praise for the staff and quality of service. Thanks so much for everything
