The staff were lovely, the two ladies who served us were professional and friendly. I wouldn’t say attentive but were happy to chat. Some of the younger staff are clearly in training so if you visit, just be aware to be patient.
We also took some red velvet cake home which was really lovely so I would like to return to paint some pottery and have cake and coffee as that side of it looked really lovely. I just think the business is doing too much, sometimes less is more.
Dog Friendly 👍 she got lots of fusses.
Food was tasty and not bad prices.
Everyone working there were super friendly and welcoming.
The good bit
the girls enjoyed painting their pot .
Good location and well decorated
Room for improvement
We paid £10 for a small Xmas decorations, prices were high compared to similar places we have been.
Service was not the best , the paints were plonked on our table , no guidance given , we had to ask for aprons .
The. choice of ceramics. was really limited!
If you are promoting yourself as a ceramic cafe then this needs more focus and process improving!
They stop doing breakfast at 10.30 and I had noticed by this point it was 10.29 and yes they still cooked us both a full breakfast.
Highly recommend if your in Gresford call in, the staff are very helpful and very polite.
We are definitely going back again.
We were originally heading to Farndon but were turned back as it was the Chester marathon.
Had a lovely night painting my pumpkin mug :)
Place was spotless, toilets too!
Cwtch always have a lovely selection of delicious cakes and freshly prepared food to order.
And in addition to all this, there is also a retro sweet shop, where you can buy old fashioned favourites, like rhubarb and custard, kola kubes, black Jack's etc, all types of fudge, from mint chocolate to banofee and more.
So my advice is, come to Rossett, and stop off at the Cwtch Cafe, a first class local café.
