Very cute place. Friendly staff, lots of lovely food to choose from and very reasonably priced! Will have to go back soon to try the painting and afternoon tea

Cute little place, great idea and lovely atmosphere. I had the wagyu burger and my partner had the chicken, it was served on a toasted bap with nothing else on. The salad on the side was a piece of lettuce, half a slice of cucumber, half a cherry tomato, one slice of pepper and two onion slices. It was also served with wedges (jacket potato cut into 3). I mean it wasn’t a bad meal but I wouldn’t pay £8.95 again for something so simple. It was a bit of a wait as well when we were the only customers in there so I can’t imagine how it would be with a lot of customers but this may be a staffing issue?

The staff were lovely, the two ladies who served us were professional and friendly. I wouldn’t say attentive but were happy to chat. Some of the younger staff are clearly in training so if you visit, just be aware to be patient.

We also took some red velvet cake home which was really lovely so I would like to return to paint some pottery and have cake and coffee as that side of it looked really lovely. I just think the business is doing too much, sometimes less is more.

Breakfast was awful which was a shame as the coffee was great. I experienced this a couple months back now only just leaving a review now because I forgot about the place. My 10 year old sister could make a better breakfast Christ. Sausages split in half to cook quicker, hard grilled tomatoes, black pudding was cold, eggs looked like they had been sat on and they generously gave me a few little mushrooms that has seen better days. Honestly the weirdest experience for breakfast after a night out I’ve ever had.

First visit with 3 and 6 year old to paint pots.

The good bit
the girls enjoyed painting their pot .
Good location and well decorated

Room for improvement
We paid £10 for a small Xmas decorations, prices were high compared to similar places we have been.
Service was not the best , the paints were plonked on our table , no guidance given , we had to ask for aprons .
The. choice of ceramics. was really limited!

If you are promoting yourself as a ceramic cafe then this needs more focus and process improving!

A friend had an accident and got knocked off his push bike, not been out for a long time so I took him to Cwtch Ceramics Cafe, we arrived about 10.25 sat down and looked at the menu.

They stop doing breakfast at 10.30 and I had noticed by this point it was 10.29 and yes they still cooked us both a full breakfast.

Highly recommend if your in Gresford call in, the staff are very helpful and very polite.

We are definitely going back again.

We were originally heading to Farndon but were turned back as it was the Chester marathon.

What a fantastic place, here you can paint your own ceramics, and you can also order very nice food too.

Cwtch always have a lovely selection of delicious cakes and freshly prepared food to order.

And in addition to all this, there is also a retro sweet shop, where you can buy old fashioned favourites, like rhubarb and custard, kola kubes, black Jack's etc, all types of fudge, from mint chocolate to banofee and more.

So my advice is, come to Rossett, and stop off at the Cwtch Cafe, a first class local café.
