We always make at least one special trip here when we're in the area.
Always excellent food, (including gluten free (pictured)). Menu also shows gluten free options which is originally why we came in- just so much easier!
Everything feels very fresh, honest and tasty. Staff Inc. chef are always very friendly and good too. Happily recommend.
Also excellent teas ( I am fussy about the brand of tea!) and coffee and cake (includes gluten free cake).

One of the finest tea rooms I've ever been to. We were welcomed at the front and ushered around to a huge garden at the back. Staff were very helpful, and the menu, like any good cafe menu, had just about everything you could hope for.

We stopped at Penygawse for breakfast.
I enjoyed the pancakes with lemon and sugar,which were freshly made on site, (something of a rarity). The full breakfasts were indeed Full and not something you could do every day. But it was a treat.
Well worth a visit.

We ate lunch at Penygawse yesterday. It is a very pleasant cafe with sofas to sit at if you prefer and seating outside and to the rear. A good choice to suit all tastes. Our selection arrived promptly and was very tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Popped in for coffee and bacon sarnies. All very good. Staff were friendly and service was quick.

Update 27/08/2022: Had an all day large breakfast, without hash browns. Everything was cooked to perfection. They have a garden area but dogs are not allowed, luckily a table out front was free.

Excellent! I had the beef lasagne with salad and chips. All piping hot, chips were perfect as was the lasagne, the salad was a proper one with lots of different leaves, onion, cucumber, tomatoes and Coleslaw with balsamic vinegar dressing.

Lovely breakfast . Everything very well presented . Brilliant friendly waitress . Will definitely re visit and recommend
