Poppit Sands is a most wonderful beach with everything one needs - from practicalities such as loos and parking, easy access for all (beach friendly buggies available to hire - for children … don’t know about wheelchairs I’m afraid), and dogs are welcome but with dog-free area May to Sept).

To top it all, there is a lovely cafe (now) called Crwst which serves Welsh ice cream (also for dogs), hot breakfast buns, vegan as well as regular sweet and savouries including donuts and gluten free is on offer too. The teas and coffees were good. Butter honey and salted almond ice cream tasty (but soggy almonds). And the breakfast buns made with good quality bacon and bread.

There are long or short walks to be enjoyed strolling through gentle waves on a gently sloping beach, rock pools for investigating, dunes to explore and the reassuring option of a second breakfast at Crwst on the way home too 😊

Costs were higher than in Mwnt we felt (but not checked scientifically line by line), but more seating - indoors as well as outdoors. It was as long a wait for a cup of tea as for a big breakfast so maybe some opportunity to improve the through flow of customers to reduce wait times if wished.

Clean, a good number of staff, light and airy. Gifts available to buy too.

Dog water bowls by the loos on the opposite side of the road. There may be some at Crwst but I didn’t see them.

Recycling bins also on the other side of the road. Food served in compostable or recyclable packaging 👍

Great beach for dog walking. A little disappointed with cafe, as did not serve hot food as advertised on website. But, the rolls we had, were fresh and tasty.

The setting and the service were both fabulous. The coffee in my latte was full of flavour and served at a good temperature.
Please consider having sugar free syrup options for addition to coffee options, also pouring cream to offer with Americanos, desserts, etc would be another consideration.
Lots of artisan food options on sale, expensive but they did look like good quality.

This review is based on the peanut butter fudge ice cream only.
It was the best ice cream I have ever had, EVER! I am a massive peanut / nut fan and the UK doesn't do peanut butter products like they do in America. Over there peanut butter is everywhere, so I was happy to see this ice cream on the menu.
It tasted amazing. Everyone else in my group were happy with their flavours too.

Great cafe. Love the pecan maple danish. Shame there isn't more indoor seating for cold days but we love this place no matter what.

Such an amazing little coffee shop with an amazing location.
The vegan sandwich and the vegan cakes are absolutely lush.
Really need to try the vegan hot chocolate.
Dog friendly place as well.
Great staff.
A must go place.

Brief visit to the cafe, it's a beautiful little place and staff were super friendly. Found it a little expensive and didn't end up getting food there although portion sizes looked pretty good and rolls etc were well filled.
I had a small coffee and boy it was small! It cost £3.20 and tbh definitely not worth the money, soft drinks are also pretty expensive and you have to pay for parking.
