Lovely small canal basin, we launched our canoe here for a trip up the canal, had a good breakfast bap from the cafe, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Launch is free but the car park is for the cafe, and shuts when the cafe shuts, there is some additional parking just outside on the road though. Toilet also available on site.

We came here for the start of our canal walk what a lovely place to sit and enjoy the drinks and snacks lovely and peaceful stunning views there and along the embankment a must visit for anyone and everyone of all ages and abilities.
The only down side is the cyclists some are great but you do have the selfish ones that insist you move over or give way to them even tho the signs says cyclists are to give way

Fab fab and more fab. Beautiful part of the canal and the cafe is great. They even sell dog biscuits (profit goes to a dog charity). I always return home feeling happy & relaxed after a trip to the basin and the wallk along to New Inn.

Always nice to drop in here for a bite to eat before a walk along the canal. Friendly staff, reasonably priced and good quality food. Lovely well kept spot to sit and enjoy the weather 😀

Little boat cafe. Reasonable parking. Toilet facilities were out of order while I was there which was a shame. Excellent access to canal pathways and waterways. Pubs within walking distance.

We wanted to discover the canal system in Wales and found this one.
Very fascinating industrial past
One lime furnace still remains and a nearby cottage.
Lovely views across to Crickhowel.
Clearly popular with walkers

So much to explore. Great fun for the kids with easy walks and a great waterfall do discover. There is also a cute cafe with outdoor seating amongst the trees.
