Absolutely fantastic place! So much to compliment I don't know where to start!

Lovely cafe with loads of outdoor seating for a coffee in the sun. Staff were absolutely lovely and helped us find a table despite it being very busy. Food came out quickly and table service was a lovely touch!

And the food, OH WOW THE FOOD 😍 I had the full English breakfast and an incredible sausage roll. Haven't had such a good English breakfast in a very long time! Meanwhile, my mum is coeliac (gluten free) but had no trouble eating. A gluten free toastie with gluten free chipsticks that she was very happy with.

All in all, a lovely experience at an absolutely excellent cafe!

Huge tea cake to accompany a great cappuccino. Very good 'Mr Whippy' ice-cream - we will definitely be back🍦

Abergavenny has lots of cafes to choose from and the Trading Post is up there with the best of them. It has plenty of seating and a good menu. There is a large square outside with lots of tables and a relaxed continental feel. They don't just allow dogs in, they give them treats and make a real fuss of them. My dog loves it so much he pulls me through the door whether I want to go in or not. The staff are truly lovely

Brilliant set up. You can sit out in the market square. A member of staff quickly appears and takes your order on a smart device and shortly after your drinks arrive at the table. We visited on a hot busy afternoon and service was adequate. They were coping with lots of orders well and regular popped up to see if we needed anything else.

We found this place a total gem ! We visited 3 times in one week for lunch and breakfast. Very dog friendly, dogs can sit inside with you. Plenty of choice of food, fantastic quick service, friendly staff and outstanding food. You will not be disappointed. Best place in Abergavenny !

Heard good things but very disappointed after our visit here for breakfast. The food was cold except for the sausage, the order its self was incorrect which resulted in the plate swimming in tinned tomatoes which we specifically asked not to have. The table we sat at rocked back and forth as we ate. The salt shaker had completely gone hard making it impossible to get salt out. We sat in a quiet corner intentionally for some peace, it was not very busy lots of empty tables but 10 minutes later the hostess decided to seat a group of 4 builders so close to us we might of well be sharing food. So yeah thanks for that 👍 and this would have probably been a 2 star review but because the response to every other 2 star review is just 🤔 from the owner, its a definite 1 star from me. So have a 🤔 about that trading post.

Appalling service today. 12 of us on a pre booked table, with ore ordered food. 9 meals came, asked for cutlery for 20 minutes. Food cold. 20 minutes later here comes the other meals, after hassling the rude kitchen staff for them. Sarcastic and unhelpful staff. Cold meals and Festive negativity. Will spend my money elsewhere next year. Shambles.
