Morrisons Cafe

Breakfast is ok, but if you want to swap two items and replace it with one thing they will charge you extra. This is really poor service and greedy by morrisons.

Dirty cutlery, cold food, never any milk, dirty tables. It can be good, but not often, one or two good workers. Could be a top cafe, replace staff for people that do more than wander around doing nothing. UPDATE... 20.10.21....BIG IMPROVEMENT BUT.... food is NOT hot enough... Staff are definitely better and food presentation is vastly improved. But hot food please and full selection of sandwiches and cakes.... 12:1:22 UPDATE... clean and tidy, staff now have a purpose and it shows... Happy days. 🌟🌟🌟🌟👍 EVEN BETTER NOW..

TOTAL WAIST OF TIME, STAFF WANDERING AROUND... WHEN YOUR LUCKY TO SEE THEM.. ALL WAYS WAITING A LONG TIME AND STAFF IDLE. A FEW TIMES STAFF ARE BUSY, BUT FOOD IS EXTREMELY VAIRIABLE. BEST AVOIDED

always love to have a breakfast from the cafe, the make amazing food. They also tailor to you needs.

Met my friend for lunch ..awful experience everyone in the cafe was complaining and almost couldn't believe the service ..when everyone was waiting to be served ..the lady at the till(who was obviously stressed was telling everyone there's a 30 minute wait) ..although there was only 5 tables seated .we tried to order cheese toasties. No cheese toasties!!!so went for a bacon roll which was on our table in 5mins ..freezing cold and pale looking !Spoke to young man who wanted scrambled eggs ..he was told he could only have poached or fried 🤣ran out of cups ..used and dirty plates left on table ..because the lady who was doing everything didn't have time to clean tables ...very sad situation and disappointed .Everyone we spoke to felt the same 😪

We've really tried to give this place a chance. Considering its part of a big company I would have thought this cafe would have higher standards. Everytime we come its in disarray. Vastly understaffed and the people working there don't seem to understand what they're doing, half the time something isn't working or the food is off and they just ask if you want to buy anything else instead of admitting to the mistake being on them and offering a refund. I've bought three meals from here on two occasions that haven't come with one of the items on the menu and no money has been taken off just another item of equipment blamed. Have always been spoken to rudely by staff but this may be due to poor management and the poor sods being so understaffed. Doubtful of any improvement as its been the same for the last 3 years and only got worse.

Ordered a vegan breakfast and it arrived with an egg.

Shambolic, the cafe manager needs to sacked and replaced by someone who knows what they are doing.
Coming up to lunchtime, busy one member of staff doing the cash register and serving food. Not fair on the staff member or customers. Even on a quiet day when hardly any customers it takes longerbto produce a breakfast than I would at home and tables not cleaned. Have they nevee thought of pulling staff off shop floor to serve food and clean tables at busy times?

Just had a morning breakfast here, normally Morrison’s cafes aren’t half bad. However this was disgusting, also what I thought was a joke was that the only available milk was UHT and not really milk. Shocking McDonald’s would have made a better cup of tea.
