Discovered this cafe whilst on the way to the Priory ruins. Food is Mediterranean cuisine and excellent. Friendly staff. Served very quickly. Great coffee. Also a deli. Couldn't resist the superb canoli's.

Lovely little cafe tucked away down a side street. Friendly staff, nice decor and easily accessible to all. Had a great vegan burger there, would definitely have again.

Just when I lost hope in finding a good independent coffee shop in Haverfordwest, I stumbled across Cafe Rio on Quay Street.

I was pleasantly surprised when I stepped into the cafe, finding it buzzing with a crowded, friendly and warm atmosphere.
I was immediately greeted by a smiley waitress who addressed me politely (extra points) and showed me to a table and explained all the Socially-Distancing procedures currently in place.

I was equally delighted that the cafe could create a good flat white and that they offered Soy and Almond milk as an alternative.

Stupidly I had already eaten, as their lunch menu looked divine, as well as their cake selection.

All tables and counters were spotlessly clean and the staff were very proactive in keeping everything in order.

The shop also sold a wide range of local Pembrokeshire produce, as well as offering board games to play whilst sitting in the cafe: I love a Board Game Cafe!!

Will definitely be back, to try the lunch menu if nothing else.

We had a family evening (7 of us) for their Friday Tapas night. Everything was wonderful we managed to taste all 8 of their dishes with a couple doubled up! The bill including drinks came to £10 per head which is remarkably good value.

My preferred eatery in Haverfordwest. Second visit to this friendly cafe, this time with my husband. We had the sharing mixed platter which was plentiful, tasty and varied. In fact we needed a ‘doggy box’’ to take some cheese home. Highly recommended.
I especially enjoy the brunch menu here however and would endeavour to visit again a little earlier to take advantage of my preferred menu. Thank you ladies - see you again soon!
*Also they have products and a little deli shop to buy for home. The garlic olives are to die for….

Great Coffee + Cake with so much more. A large and impressive selection of cakes along with coffee's + teas. The £5 for a drink ( tea or coffee ) and a slice of cake is a bargain. Clean friendly and dog welcoming, which also sells local pottery. Well worth a look

Friendly atmosphere, helpful staff. Great choice of food and drinks. Had the French toast with bacon, maple strip and scrambled egg on the side, very yummy. Full Welsh breakfast great too. Their rustic baguettes ate scrumpy too! Will def go again!
