Very disappointing ice cream - icy texture and what tasted like very cheap artificial flavourings. The peanut butter tasted the way scented bleach smells. If this used to be home made 'proper' ice cream, it isn't any more. The staff were friendly enough tho.

There was a board on the pavement advertising their Breakfast selections, so we thought we would have a late breakfast. The menus were on the table, BUT in very small print at the bottom it stated that Breakfast was not served after 11 p.m. So why was the board still there? Furthermore, items on the full menu were a bit pricey in comparison/value. In the end my son ordered lasagne, which was served with a salad (in reality a few shreds of iceberg, and two slices each of cucumber and tomato), plus what was described as 'half a baguette, but was in reality half a 'Demi baguette. He said it tasted delicious. However, I ordered a lamb hotspot, which on the menu looked just like the real thing, but was in reality some sort of hybrid! Minced lamb with bertolli beans, a layer of spinach, a layer of cheese and topped with sliced potato. Tasty? Yes. Lamb hot-pot? No.

The ice cream looked fab but we had lunch, lovely Welsh curry and lamb hot pot, went back later for a coffee. Definitely going again!

Staff are lovely , food and drinks are good , Sidoli's have been in Ebbw Vale all my lifetime along with the other Italian family cafe's of which have sadly long gone .

Nice atmosphere, lovely building, friendly staff and quick service. Sadly ice cream is not vegetarian. Perhaps they might expand their ice cream selection to include vegan options?
