Lovely cafe with an emphasis on freshly baked cakes. The Bara Brith was outstanding. Friendly service and very reasonably priced.

We love this place. It's in a beautiful setting with a play area for kids. The staff are so warm and friendly and the food is delicious, proper home cooked fresh dishes. You can tell the chef loves to cook.

Awful!! I’ve been twice now as I thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt. The first time I waited 30 minutes for a coffee and as it didn’t come I decided to go in and ask how much longer it might take. The young girl snapped at me and said they were busy. I said that’s absolutely fine but if it’s going to take that long then they need to communicate that to the customers when they are ordering. She then said it was likely to be atleast another 30 minutes. What the bell! I’d only ordered a cappuccino for crying out loud. I had to cancel the order as we couldn’t wait any longer.

Then today. I ordered a cappuccino and when I pulled my card out to pay (who the hell carries cash around these days anymore?) I was told it was a £10 minimum spend on card. I asked why and she said she didn’t know. Come on guys, why the hell would you charge people to pay? Even if you guys get a small charge fir people using cards, so what! You lost business today and probably from loads of other people too . Sort yourselves out!

The girls serving were absolutely wonderful. Super polite. My gripe is with the price and quality of the food.
The soup came with a single slice of supermarket bread.
A thin slice of bara brith without butter was £3.50.
Millionaire shortbread - also £3.50 for a small triangle.
Such a lovely setting with an amazing server with overpriced, underwhelming food.
I will not be returning due to cost and low quality products.
What a wasted opportunity.

amazing location, beautiful view and free parking and kids play area. outdoor and indoor seating, great food and we go back every week for the sunday lunch which reminds me of my mums! excellent customer service and dog friendly plus vegan and veggie food and cakes. oh yes mike had a deluxe milk shake which was huge and great coffee,

£17 for two teas and two mediocre cakes- one being slightly stale. It was clean and tidy but the pricing- wow!

Such a shame as the staff all seem really friendly but the prices are eye watering! Kids were starving so forked out £9 each for a sandwich which was just cheap bread and cheese! Crazy! Sadly we had forgotten our packed lunches and this was the only option, cake was also expensive and dry! It's one of our favourite places to go walking, next time we will remember to bring our packed lunches!

well, being a local person, I am ashamed at the prices and the quality of food on offer. It is set in such a wonderful estate. Glynllifon well worth a walk around. However, this cafe so lets this place down!!!!!!!!!!! The girls are lovely, but the prices and quality of food is a disgrace. We visit NT properties all the time, and all the drinks and food we have purchased at these properties has been enjoyable, not to say here!!!! Our visit was whilst the Christmas Fayre was on this weekend, busy but not overly busy, no prices on the cakes or for beverages, so you just assume they are going to be a reasonable price, not so, when we got the bill I just couldnt believe it, we should have said no thank you, but with people around you dont do that do you, well I cant anyway. This was our first visit to the cafe and it will definitely be our last, I have spoken since to friends of ours who have also said that the quality and prices are a disgrace, so we are not the only locals who feel the same. These prices will actually put off visitors to this lovely place, and we need all the support we can get from tourism.
