So terrible. Avoid this company at all costs, there are many other cake companies that actually respect their customers. I ordered 4 baking pans but I was sent a different item (mats instead of baking pans!). They are say they’ve sent me the correct item. However since my email they have changed the product photos and description to match the actual product with the code. I had even sent screen shots so luckily I have the evidence for taking further (which I absolutely am doing as this is unacceptable and my consumer right to be sent the correct product that I have paid for). I tried calling over 20 times but no one ever answers. I also left a voicemail. I am now stuck out of pocket with items I do not want. As a small business this is not fair and I would never risk my money with them again. I urge you not to risk the same.

Edit - I have now read through other reviews and I am gutted I didn’t see them before placing an order! It is clear they do not care about their customers and should be avoided.

When nothing goes wrong with the order then it's ok. Sadly I had several bad experiences from receiving products which have been past expiry date (got told I could still use them and never got a refund!) to receiving the wrong products which I had to send back on my own cost. They have not honoured their discount offers several times (once saying it had expired whilst the clock on the offer email was still counting down several days until the end of the offer!) and generally there is no customer service available and they don't seem to care. Sadly there are a few items I can't find anywhere else so I had to go back and order with them again.

Avoid by any cost .
They don't have terrible reviews for no reason.
Yesterday placed order for collection from Birmingham.
Yesterday Afternoon received email saying my order is ready for collection .
This morning when I was leaving to collect ( the very next day)
I received email saying one of the items in out of stock. The exact itemi desperately needed today. After speaking to customer service they offered me REFUND. As If they are doing me a favour.

STAY AWAY - I wish I read the reviews before placing the order.

This is the only review I have ever left, and that speaks for itself.

My order was placed on the 30th August and I paid for next day delivery. The items were needed before the 5th of September, so assumed this would be plenty of time. Due to not having my order I had to run around looking for a cake on the day.

I called to inform the company I wanted to cancel this order on the 5th of September, which they said they could not cancel as it was 'dispatched' - however the tracking for Royal Mail said they did not receive the order until the 7th of September. When the item finally arrived it was refused at the door.

I emailed the company informing them the parcel was refused at the door and that I would like a full refund for the items and the delivery cost, which they agreed.

I did not hear anything from the company, so I emailed them on the 26th September and was told the refund had been processed as soon as the parcel arrived. However, I received what seemed to be an automated email stating the refund had only just been placed essentially as soon as they responded saying the refund had been placed weeks ago.

Today (27th September) I have finally received my refund, after a total of 1 phone-call, 6 emails sent, and 1 month later.

I am so glad I do not have to deal with this company anymore!

The only reason of the 1 star is that I received the refund.

I have had a horrid experience with this company and would suggest anyone to AVOID.

0 would still be overrated.
Ordered on Saturday with next day delivery, reasonably expecting to have my order on Tuesday, next Saturday stuff is still not here , blaming on Royal Mail , when I spoke to Royal mail I was told the company created ticked but didn't pass to Royal mail yet.
I knew this company us just shifting blame because I use Royal Mail because no other postage was delayed.
Absolutely stay away from them.

I’ve noticed a lot of negative reviews for this business Which I’m a little bit baffled about. I’ve used them many times (always online mind you so I can’t comment on shopping I store) and they’ve always completed every order quickly and efficiently. There has been the odd time that something has arrived damaged or missing but I have contacted them and they are very swiftly rectified the situation. I find their prices very competitive as baking supplies are not cheap. The only issue I have is sometimes items can be out of stock but that can’t be helped sometimes.

Oh how I wish I’d also read all the negative reviews. I received 2 cake creme over 4 months out of date! Yes 4 MONTHS! 1 with no use by labels at all and one with only a very short time left. I now have to return…so add a letter explaining, repack and go to post office. I think they must be planning to send out to someone else! Thought they would just say bin the totally out of date and refund immediately with a big apology… but no they actually want it back and then wait for a refund. Absolutely shocking for a food based company! The out of date by 4 months already had another label stuck over original! Beware unless you want food poisoning!

This store has a good range of products, from food colouring, cake boxes to cake boards. However, it’s somewhat challenging to shop here as half the products are not priced. I asked the lady at the till about the pricing of two products, she didn’t know and had to call someone on the phone. I’d recommend they have a system in store where staff atleast should be able to look up products and pricing.
