The little cake place

As I am based in London and had no opportunity to deliver a birthday cake myself for my friend birthday I have decided to contact the little cake place in Ipswich for them to make and deliver a cake for my friend that is based in Ipswich. I have emailed Lucy that never emailed me back, then call them and then promised me that Lucy will call me back which never happened. It is very disappointed after seeing all those good reviews about them. Maybe making a small cake wasn't profitable enough for them but I would have at least appreciate an answer, it is simply rude and unprofessional.

We would just like to say a massive thank you to Lucy for making our wedding cake last week. Not only was it beautiful it tasted incredible! So many people commented on it on the night and since the wedding.. There wasn't a crumb left!! We have used Lucy for years, her cakes are amazing and she is such a lovely person too. She's willing to help with ideas and recommendations, shes so lovely to work with! Thank you ❤

Had 2 cakes made in the last month both for 30th birthdays, both were amazing in design and taste. Lucy very helpful and understanding, nothing is too much trouble. Have had a few cakes made over the last couple of years and never been disappointed would highly recommend

Simply put, we go no where else for cakes. These are the best tasting, best looking cakes and put together by the best staff wanting to do a brilliant creation for you. We have had lovely cakes for every family event there is and can not recommend enough

ordered a cake from the little cake place for my sisters 70th birthday. I wish I’d taken a picture as it was sooo beautiful. Actually looked just like the pictures on the website. Have to say that it was devoured by the family and every one said how much they enjoyed it. I will definitely be ordering from here again. We totally recommend Lucy (at the Little Cake Place) to make your wedding cake (or any special occasion cake for that matter). She is a lovely person, and so easy to work and communicate with and she made so many great suggestions. She was initially meant to do our wedding in March 2020, but because of the pandemic we went through two more dates. She was patient and understanding, and happy to go over what we had initially wanted to make sure things were correct. We had presented her with a image of the top design that we wanted, and she rose to the challenge a made such a beautiful cake. And Toothless and Light Fury were simply amazing! She is so clever and artistic. It was a shame to have to cut the cake (one layer vanilla sponge and the other lime and coconut), but it had to be done and was delicious. Thank you Lucy. ♥

Highly recommended! This is the second cake I've ordered here for a special occasion (my mum's 60th) and I was not disappointed. Had an image in mind of what I wanted and Lucy & her team fulfilled the brief 💯. Cake was spectacular and very delicious!
