Bonbon

Bon Bon is a lovely shop. The window displays are beautiful and full of lovely treats. They serve savory food too, I saw Croque monsieur on the menu. They also serve hot and cold drinks. I was greated and served quickly when I entered shop. I tried one of the chocolate filled tarts with meringue on top it was divine. I will definitely be stopping in again.

How have we not seen this place before now?
Being a avid watcher of Inspector Montalbano, we’ve always wanted to try Cannelloni, and boy was it gorgeous!
You can get a small or large box, and then pick and mix to your hearts content, and there is so much to chose from. As they are mostly puff pastry, the cost isn’t as much as you’d think, being that the pastries are so light.
We will certainly be going back on our next trip to Ipswich.

Super friendly staff and great food. We had a lovely hotdog and a chicken wrap, and we were full for the rest of the day lol. The pistachio baklava was still warm from the oven! So after trying one, we decided we needed more and bought a small box of it, it's to die for. Definitely one of my favorite food places now.

I've been looking at this place since it opened and only went in for the first time today. Great service, lovely Italian treats. Warning to vegetarians though! Some of the pastry isn't vegetarian but there are alternatives in the same flavour, so just ask to be sure!

We ordered from deliveroo. They did not have the items we ordered so only sent half of our order.

I contacted bonbon and the justification is that they couldn't replace as if the items are replaced and then refunded this is then costing the cafe in stock and revenue.

I understand that completely, however, the items shouldn't be listed as available. If they had only just sold out or it was an error, each order placed has contact details so they could have contacted to confirm a replacement or cancel the order. Or if they do not want to contact customers they could just not accept or cancel the order. So actually its a poor excuse. We paid a £2.99 delivery fee and 99p for an order nobody would have placed. Sure we can get a refund on the items we didn't get, but because of your justification the customer is now at a loss due to the additional fees.

Absolutely love this place. The food is always on point and the service is friendly and efficient.
The sausage rolls are incredibly morish and come in many flavours, ploughman's is my go to choice. The selection of sweet treats will leave you wanting more it's hard to pick just one and I always end up with a few.

Sent some Macaroons from Cafe Bonbon via Deliveroo to my sister, I called up to see if they could add a little note and they went above and beyond and attached a really cute little gift tag with the message on. They were super prompt and easy to order from. Not the last time I'll be ordering and will definitely be visiting next time I'm in town!

Always want it to try the food and went a got sweets but when I got home and tried it wasn’t the best. The baklava wasn’t baked enough so please do baked more because inside is not good and its bit dry.
The other sweets was ok but been kept outside for long time.
