Cake box serves one the best and fresh cakes and pastries .... I have tried different ones and this time tried the chocolate cake with ferrero richer toppings and it was nice ..... best part about the cake box is that all it’s cakes and pastries are egg free so all the vegetarians can choose any of the cakes / pastries without much worry

Great service as alway but. But my cake today was more cream than it was cake. It has been better in the past. Same tasty but less cake. Thanks

The cakes look and taste amazing ! Very light and quite large slices, so one is enough for two people. Thoroughly recommend.

We ordered from here today. I'll be honest, it's really delicious! We got forest fruits, strawberry, Ferrero and black forest. The only thing I don't like is that it's not homemade - at least I don't think so. If you look on their website, there are the ingredients. After that, it doesn't seem so appealing, and we were quite shocked as it's not quite what we are looking for:

Sugar, Wheat Flour [Statutory Additives (Calcium Carbonate, Niacin, Iron, Thiamine)], Milk Protein, Colour (E162), Thickener (Modified Potato Starch), Raising Agents (E450, E500ii), Vegetarian Whey Powder (Milk), Fat-Reduced Cocoa Powder, Wheat Gluten, Salt, Preservative (E202), Stabilisers (E466, E412, E415), Emulsifier (E481), Soya Bean Oil, Antifoaming Agent E900 Humectant (Glycerine) Or Humectant (E422), Unsalted Butter (Milk), Palm Oil, Dried Glucose Syrup, Water, Glucose Syrup, Humectant (E422 Glycerine), Vegetarian Whey Powder (Milk), Whole Milk Powder, Skimmed Milk Powder, Crème-Fraiche Powder (Milk), Emulsifiers (E471 Mono- And Diglycerides Of Fatty Acids, E473 Sucrose Esters Of Fatty Acids)

Sadly, even though super cute design of the shop, cakes etc., it's just really off-putting, and seems extremely unhealthy and full of way more unnatural ingredients and chemicals than expected... shame!

Really great cakes. Very reasonably priced. Lovely friendly service.

Cake was lovely. The one thing I will say is careful when looking at prices. They had priced this cake up as £15.99 which my nan was happy to pay. When buying the cake they charged my mum who went In to purchase it £16.99. My mum questioned the fact that it's priced up at £15.99 and all they could say was sorry.

So I'd suggest that you check prices to avoid mix ups as cakebox will charge you the price that's not on display
