Penny's cakes are outstanding, both in range and execution. Her wedding cakes are exquisite, often with beautifully crafted flowers, birthday cakes amazing, especially the humerous ones, which always capture the essence of the theme. Penny makes cakes regularly for me, and they are unfailingly gorgeous to look at, and delicious to eat! Highly recommended.

Penny created the most incredibly beautiful 4 tier wedding cake for us. She is a very talented, hard working lady and she totally exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail was amazing and the cake received so much great feedback and praise from out guests. As well as looking like a work of art, it tasted absolutely delicious and we cannot thank her enough for everything she did.

Penny Grundon is an absolute delight to work with! From the outset she has been warm, accommodating, responsive and incredibly enthusiastic. She created a wedding cake for us which was utter perfection. After picking Penny, my husband and I knew we could cross the wedding cake off our to-do list because there was no doubt we were leaving it in brilliant hands. She works exceptionally hard and the passion she has for cake-making is admirable, not to mention reassuring.

We picked a cake from a previous design of Penny's. From her pictures, we initially thought the flowers decorating the cake were real but they were all handmade, edible (sugar) flowers by Penny. They looked incredibly life-like: a testament to Penny’s exceptional talent and skills.

Taste: our wedding cake was the most delicious cake we’ve ever tasted. We opted for a three-tiered round cake (bottom: fruit, middle: vanilla sponge with wild strawberry filling, top: chocolate with chocolate buttercream) and it had the most perfect moist texture.

I genuinely cannot fault Penny. She exceeded our expectations and created a cake that was incredibly special and memorable. We will certainly be utilising her services again in the future. Penny, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much!

Penny makes the most beautiful cakes. Not only do they look incredible but they taste great too. Penny made my daughter’s anniversary cake and my niece’s wedding cake. Superb.

Penny made a stunning champagne box cake for my wife's 30th birthday, it looked and tasted amazing - she even threw in a 'happy 30th' decoration which was a nice touch!

If you've ever looked on Pinterest and thought I'd like a designer cake, ask Penny! Our wedding cake looked absolutely stunning – exactly what I’d had in mind when we designed it together – perfect. Matched the theme of our wedding perfectly – classic, modern and elegant. The gold leaf behind the sugar roses was sheer perfection. It also tasted extremely good – guests were really impressed – and thoroughly enjoyed helping themselves.

Penny was also happy to create individual cupcakes for those with dietary requirements (who usually get forgotten where wedding cake is concerned - trust me, they'll really appreciate the gesture!) Each cupcake was individually boxed and beautifully presented.

Thank you so much Penny for our wonderful wedding cake and for all your kind support throughout this process. It was one of the easiest elements of our wedding to organise - despite doing so during one of our national lockdowns - and it was an absolute pleasure working with you and meeting you at the tasting :)
