Great shop. Huge range of stock that suits both photographers and collectors. Phillip is hugely knowledgeable too. Always something interesting to look at and most of the equipment is affordable rather than overpriced which is the tendency with a lot of the chains that sell s/h gear. Recommended source of film cameras too as well as vintage collectors items and lights and bits and bobs.

Everytime I walk into this shop I am distracted with the amount of old and new cameras...I could just spend a day in there.
Nice chap..very helpful and gives you a good price on your un wanted stuff.

Only one thing I must add is he never says goodbye to me when I leave the shop which is always a sad occasion :)

The best camera shop in the city in my opinion. They specialise in providing used high quality but good value photographic equipment. The staff are exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly.

What Philip doesn't know about camera's is not worth worrying about. I have bought and sold with him and he always gives me a good deal either way.

This place appears closed to me. I've tried contacting by phone several times threes last few days and it just beeps and I went there today within the stated opening hours and there was no sign of life. I would say that its finished trading. Please correct me if I'm wrong and it'll delete this post.

Place is closed, no signs outside to say it's permanently closed, but the shades are drawn and the front door seems boarded up from the inside.

Definitely a different experience. Quirky shop but I'm guessing it supplies good's that have a niche market and would otherwise be hard to find.
Went there to sell a few cameras and achieved that. Enjoyed the visit and the different experience.
