Just back from a 4 nite stay in our new tent. Lovely campsite with incredible views. Site was very peaceful and quiet and the owners were very welcoming. It was lovely to watch the red kites and listen to the owls at night. Facilities were very clean and we liked the campers kitchen and made good use of the kettle! Lots of hot water for washing up and showers. We had the cooked breakfast this morning as nice treat to end our stay and it set us up nicely for the rest of the day.

Just come home from a couple of nights stay at this beautiful campsite.
Found a lovely spot in which to pitch our camper and awning. The views are amazing and miles of well marked footpaths to walk. Showers and Toilets spotless. We didn’t use the kitchen other then to get water but a lovely addition to the campsite. A few other campers on the site but still lovely and quite.

Liked: Fantastic site, loads of space for the children to explore. Pitches are well spaced and wasn’t crowded even for summer holidays. Camping kitchen and picnic bench was a huge bonus. A lovely rural site with amazing views for a quiet and relaxing stay. We will be returning.

Liked: It's a lovely, peaceful campsite on a working farm. Our son had a lovely time and could observe animals - hens, sheeps, cows and horses, and of course farm machines.
Facilities were nice and clean, big thumb up for a bigger shower room! The camping kitchen is a lovely idea, I have never had a toast while camping before. The camping tables for each pitch mean that you don't have to bring your own table and chairs!
Very quiet in the evening, which is lovely and peaceful (but that depends on people not campsite itself).

Disliked: The smell of manure didn't bother me too much, I understand we were on a working farm and it doesn't happen every day.
Level pitches only on top and bottom of the site, but this also means that you're not surrounded by tents from each side.
A smaller gate for pedestrians would be good too.

Lovely quiet site with a bench and firepit for every pitch. Lovely breakfast that you can order the night before. Was really impressed with the shower/toilet block really clean and has a disabled shower and toilet. Never seen that before on any other site.

Liked: The site and facilities were excellent and the Kitchen appliances provided were unexpected.
The scenery was absolutely beautiful and really great for star gazing - loved it.
Also loved the Town Trail available in Bishop's Castle - really good fun :-)

Liked: A lovely warm & informative welcome. Beautiful views from either field & so so peaceful. Well maintained, clean shower & toilet facilities. The kitchen area was a nice touch too. Additionally, there were picnic tables and fire pits (recycled washing machine drums) for each pitch too - it's just the little things that can make a difference.
Would definitely recommend this campsite. Oh, and the hearty homemade cooked breakfast was definitely worth the money too.

We camped here for 3 nights - we cannot wait to come back. Beautiful surroundings and excellent facilities - thank you to Mary and her lovely family for providing the space to have such a peaceful and rejuvenating get-away in the fresh air. The picnic tables, fire pits and unbelievably delicious cooked breakfast (the freshest eggs!) are a genius touch. Bring warm clothes and binoculars for some serious star gazing! See you in the spring!
