We stayed here for a week for a family holiday. The toilet block is new, very modern & clean. The reasoning for marking a star off is because the "inclusive bathroom" is only available in the bottom field it would be nicer if it was also in the top toilet block. As it meant I had go down to the bottom site every time I wanted to bath my daughter, which isnt the be all and end all, but would have been a nicer touch to have the inclusive bathroom In both blocks. That being said I loved the facilities in the Inclusive bathroom had everything anyone could need. The two Scottish ladies, Marion & Elaine, ( I think that was their names) were absolutely lovely, very friendly and welcoming. Just perfect, would happily stay here again.

Having had over £3m spent on the site and only reopened in August '22 it is pristine and a credit to the staff who look after the site. The idea of putting in a family room that has a shower, bath, whb and WC a great idea. Plenty of room to move around and underfloor heating. The hard standings were very level. Will definitely be calling back again and hope that the standard is maintained.

We recently stayed at this site for a weekend and was somewhat disappointed with the state of some of the pitches. Nice toilet blocks however only two toilets in the gents on the top part of the site for over 50 pitches and tents! We met two lovely Scottish ladies who were so friendly and helpful, in contrast the male site manager “Chris” has got to have been the rudest, obnoxious and officious person ever. Quite concerned about the amount of leaves on steps leading to our pitch, we were petrified of slipping or tripping…..sort this out CAMC sort out your manager. Will I return? Probably not

A newly redveloped site and it has been done really well. This is a site of 2 completely separate halves ... almost better described as TWO sites. We did not visit, stay on or go to the 'Grass' touring & camping site; our stay was on the 'other' half which is entirely hardstanding pitches and our review is written in that context. It's a great 'all-year' site with little chance of bad weather affecting your stay or needing any additional bad weather 'stuff'. The pitches are an excellent size each with more space than is needed for their purpose (i.e. 'with awning' there was masses of space for our 8' x 8m twin axle unit, awning and large 4x4). A couple of points that is common to many club sites, but we were surprised to experience them on a newly designed site. The internal-road is narrow, with some very tight corner-manoeuvres required. Unusually, this road system also contains 2 or 3 very steep (but short) hills in the road. The site is next to a busy road, it's not visible though. But, there is a fairly constant traffic noise across much of the site. It also seems to be one of those roads that bikers like to use to race their bike through it's noisy gears. The road noise seemed to be non-existent after 10pm until around 7am. It wouldn't stop us re-booking and it does not always stay in your conscious-awareness ... but important to mention. The site is stunning in that it abounds with beautiful trees, large, small, tall and shorter. They provide a very leafy, relaxing environment giving a wonderful sense of wellbeing. The new facilities block is brilliant design using natural materials, classy shower and toilet rooms, a great laundry and washing-up area, all adorned with large wall murals of forests, woods and countryside which are reallt effective and make using the spaces much nicer. There is also a very good addition of an 'Inclusive' bathroom ... well done CAMC! The material used to build reception, facilities block and fencing is almost entirely wood. It's so nice and fits into it's surrounding environment instead of clashing with it. The last point is simply factual, neither negative, nor positive in intention: there is nothing for children 'to do' within the site bounds, it's much better suited to adults seeking a relaxing environment. Supermarkets, tourist attractions, walks, and Winchester City are all within a 5-15 minute drive. Access, in all senses of the word, is excellent. We will be visiting this site many times.

Lovely wardens and s nice enough site. Could hear the traffic, which wasn't an issue for us really, but worth mentioning. Only downside was there was no where off site to walk the dog, although the onsite dog walk was lovely, just a little small. The inclusive bathrooms are a nice idea, although the wording on the doors are a bit ambiguous. The site was nice and clean and the wardens were very kind and helpful :)

Recently refurbished. However, the layout isn't the best around the site itself. Pitches are decent, and shower blocks are immaculate, lovely & warm. Staff were a bit grumpy. Junction off the roundabout to get into the site is horrendous, and there's no escaping the road noise. The only redeeming feature was the nice hot shower!!

Excellent site, friendly staff, burger van on a Friday night is a must! Great for visiting winchester christmas market. New facilities are lovely. Serviced pitch coped well in minus 5 conditions. We will be back!
