Chertsey Camping and Caravanning Club Site

The site has been recently refurbished. Good facilities, nice park for the children to play in. The riverside location is a really nice setting. Staff friendly and approachable, the chip shop on site is helpful after a busy day sightseeing.

A great base to visit local attractions and to enjoy walks along the Thames. The site was very clean and tidy and had fantastic facilities. Toilets showers , Elson cleaning and a dog washing bay were all top draw. They even had a warm hall to watch TV or meet and eat with friends. The trees around the site were mature and lots of squirrals to keep you entertained. We also observed parrots flying around and settling in the trees !!

The not so good points for us was that you could not escape the motorway traffic noise and flights from and to Heathrow airport didn't stop until 11:30pm ish and started around 5am ish in the morning.
The onsite fast food trailer was cheapish but wasn't very nice. Probably just an off night... Otherwise a lovely site. Just one final observation was the entrance was discreet and obscured by some temporary screening before the entrance. If you miss it coming from the town then you will have to go over the narrow bridge and turn around at the roundabout. Hope this helps with the pictures we took during our stay .

We have been to this site a few times over the past 2 years and on our last visit we felt it was looking very tired. Wow what a transformation, the refurbishment is fabulous and has made such a massive difference to this site. The showers and toilets are so much nicer and I love the dog washing area it's so helpful! It's a great site located next to the River Thames, some nice pubs locally and a lovely walk down to the Thames court. The staff are very welcoming and friendly too. It's a good site for us as it's on the M25 which is our route to everywhere. If there is one thing to mention, it's the water in the dishwashing area, it's only luke warm at best, this one of my absolute pet hates on a camp site as you need hot water to be able to wash up properly and so I gave it a 4.

A nice site right by the Thames. This was our first visit in ten years but the new facilities and hardstanding pitches are first class. On Friday and Saturday evening there is an onsite fish, chips and burger etc stall that also serves breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Great site. Spacious pitches, well laid out. Very clean site and facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff 👍☺️

Really lovely campsite - great facilities, lovely location by the river. Friendly staff and well maintained. We spent Christmas in our caravan here and had a really lovley time!

Visited here with frost on the ground in our motorhome. Location is great, on the banks of the Thames and only 10 minutes from Thorpe park. Summertime must be brilliant place to park up. Excellent new recreation block.
The only issue is the wash block ... even though there was frost at -2' the wash blocks seemed to have no heating bar a tiny radiator at the entrance, this made it feel like I was showering outside !!! .
Will revisit when summer is here.

Visiting friends, good security, adequate guest parking. Very organised site, on the river. Near to the M25, easy to find but off very busy road.
