Our new favourite camping spot. Just visited Longthorns for 5 nights on an electric pitch with our caravan and we've all had such a lovely time. Large pitches all based around the perimeter fields so kids can play in the open space. Facilities were spotless and staff were all so helpful. On site food was top-notch too.
Alpacas were wonderful to watch and we also did the alpaca walking experience, a must.
Good location and just 30 minutes from home. We can't wait to book again.

A great site in a super location. Large pitches on a family friendly site which has everything you need, a little shop, a pub and clean facilities. The space is great and the alpacas and sheep are a nice touch for the kids. The location is brilliant - right next to the tank museum and Monkey World, not far from Lulworth and Durdle Door and the staff are very accommodating. We learned that it is open all year round so will definitely be going back! As a seasoned camper I would highly recommend it 👌🏼

We had a fantastic week at Longhorns, Richard and his team keep the site in perfect condition, and even when it's busy everything is kept spotlessly clean. Free hot water in the showers and washing up points, and the reception has a fantastic little shop in it too. And during the peak season they open the bar and serve hot takeaway food made to order.

Lovely campsite! Great facilities and friendly staff. Kids really enjoyed feeding the Alpacas and had so much space to run and play.
Would highly recommend!

This was one of if not the nicest campsites I've been to. Even for bank holiday weekend there was plenty of space. What I liked most is that the pitches are along the perimeter of the pretty flat fields and the middle is open for children and guests to play garden games, ride bikes, etc. The on site shop is well stocked and I particularly liked the availability of cold beverages. The Purbeck icecream is also delicious. The on-site alpacas are a great novelty. Speaking to the men's toilets and showers they were very clean and tidy and the showers were very spacious. We will definitely go back and would recommend this site to anyone.

I’ve stayed here a few times as a bog standard camper & always been delighted with my stay. Campers are generally respectful of one another & adhere to the salient policy of the camp. However this time I paid a lot of money to “glamp” in a tippee with my daughter & 5 year old granddaughter & this is our 1st night & it’s a nightmare. No one respects the silent policy, it’s 11.30lm & still there are people talking & laughing so loud that sleep is impossible. Camp security has been nowhere to be seen whilst they are really strict with other campers. I am currently laying in bed looking for a hotel to move to tomorrow. My advice. Don’t pay the exorbitant price for so called “glamping” because this place has got it so wrong. Sad to say because I’ve loved Longthorns but I won’t be back.

Went for the Xmas Market which was very disappointing. There wasn't a great selection of goods and not very Christmasy. I just feel it could of been more atmosphere and more traditional goods . As a camp site I've always had a good time camping .
