A dirty unclean site that I will NEVER be staying at again. Its a disgrace. Calls itself a caravan park? And the price they charge for the terrible stay?
The council needs to do something about the site - It needs condemning. Men's shower floods due to blockage, poor lighting and the tiles outside the shower block are a health and safety hazard! All problems notified to site Manager over 4 weeks ago! Very rude Site Manager, and rude to guests. If you values your comfort and cleanliness, AVOID THIS SITE AT ALL COSTS!!!!

We arrived on Saturday 26/8/17 after booking for 2nights on 7 /7/17 I suppose alarm bells should have started ringing when I asked if there was availability for the bank holiday weekend, the answer was yes but can you text me as I'm painting, I did this.
Looking forward to our weekend away we arrived at Two Acres campsite, on arrival I had to find someone to book in a person with a bare chest approached and said I've told the others to move up they are not happy, I explained I had booked for 2 nights and what did he mean by this? He told me he didn't know we were arriving as the owner tells him nothing and we have to share a pitch, I asked if we have to share a pitch does that mean we only pay half the fees each? He told me if I wanted to stay we paid the full price or leave and to take it up with the owner.
After a very quick visit to the facilities (I use the term loosely) the toilets were disgusting and very unhygienic and the shower I would not allow my dog to be bathed in, we decided to leave the site.
I contacted the owner who asked if I had been offered a grass area to pitch on I said no I repeated all what the bare chested person had told me the owner did apologise but that does not give me my weekend back or the abuse we suffered from his site person. We were however offered a site in Huntingdon that he owned after what we had witnessed from the first site we declined, I did tell him to look out for the review on his site.
If anybody is looking to book a campsite to see Ely please AVOID this one to save yourselves disappointment.

I don't want to be harsh as I know people are trying to run a business and the people who lived here were nice, but this is not suited for dropping in. There is very little space for campers and the Ladies toilet was blocked and had been for 3 weeks apparently. We paid upfront for 2 nights and only stayed one. I don't want to list problems but I don't recommend this for campers, I read the reviews and thought it can't be that bad, so thought I better confirm it.

Pros: They were OK with a last minute evening booking, other nearby sites did not allow arrivals after 8pm. The site is on the flat.
Cons: The gents toilet/shower facilities were in poor condition and the light did not work. £20 for one small tent pitch for one night was steep paricpartrly bearing in mind the state of the facilities. Looked like the majority of the people actually lived there in their caravans so site was more residential than people on holidays etc.

Advantages: close to Ely. Disadvantages: scruffy. facilities not clean. rubbish everywhere. facilities damaged and inoperable. it is a trailerpark not really a campsite. cash only. grass knee length. security gate broken. front wall been knocked down by delivery lorry some weeks back, still not cleared up. bloke on site spent 3 days trying to repair a gas supply to a static van said ‘I don’t know anything about Gas’. shower has one temperature - scalding. light fittings not working, one in gents has large burn hole. tiles broken and missing in gents. would not wash walking boots in the sinks - revolting. regretfully, I cannot post the photos that I took! Ely is beautiful, free parking and 5* toilets - Two Acres Caravan Camping should go learn a few rules of basic housekeeping and hygiene. WE WOULD NEVER CROSS THE THRESHOLD OF Two Acres Caravan Camping AGAIN.

This is a good "campsite/ stay area" if you are wanting to visit Ely for the day or if you need somewhere to stay for one night maximum two but if you are looking for somewhere for 2 days or more i would not recommend as there is not much to do other than stay. One negative is their is no booking office or anything - in fact there was no one to check us in, but we just had to hover until a lady came out of her caravan to tell us someone would help us. A man came and was relatively helpful but their was no organisation and he was unsure of how much our stay would be until we said what we had been charged when we handed over the £24 for 3 of us. This place is a residential area for some people, but i noticed that a lot of the caravans were not in use which was a bonus as it was extremely quiet which was nice. The only negative in terms of noise was the sound of the busy road which can only be noticed in the night which makes it hard to sleep but this should not be a problem if you are in a caravan. The showers and toilet areas were adequate, but were maybe a little too old and perhaps needed updating. The past reviews say the toilet areas were unbearable but this isn't the case they are just very basic but fine for my needs as i was only there for a short period. We did not try the shower so do not have any feedback on this. All in all- our stay was okay. Would i come back here to stay and leave early in the morning? YES. Would i come here for a longer stay? NO. Do i think it was worth £24? NO NOT FOR ONE NIGHT MAYBE £20 for 3 of us

It's OK 4 the pre judgemental owners 2 disrespect people over the phone but they don't like a taste of their own medicine!!
Horrible people on a dirty run down campsite without a clue in the world!!!!
If u want a nightmare stay, I recommend this place!!!!!!!
