Lovely site with good facilities. Used this a number of times. Good for getting to Southampton and Portsmouth by train station only a twenty minutes walk away. Also good for a stop over for the Isle of Wight ferry.

What a lovely, friendly and clean campsite 😊 We were escorted to our pitch by Paul who ran through everything we needed to know, the bathroom facilities were spotless, showers are really spacious and good water pressure. The site is also well situated for trips to Southampton/Portsmouth or further afield. Royal Victoria Country Park is nearby and well worth a visit.

The only downside, which isn't the sites fault, was a large group of campers nearby allowed their children to play ball games and have water ballon fights nearby fellow campers (which is not allowed in the camp rules), without really telling them to be considerate to other campers! I believe they may be new to camping and really need to learn campsite etiquette as the noise distracted from what was a lovely camping trip!

I'd highly recommend booking a stay at Sunningdale Farm, we will definitely be back to stay and hopefully for longer! 😊

Stayed for one night in my motor home and paid for a late stay whilst visiting Southampton Boat Show. I have a scooter so it was really convenient to drive to the show.

Very accommodating staff. Sue was brilliant in sorting out my pitch last minute and fitting me in. Very pleasant lady with a lovely smile. Nice level grass pitch with electricity. Excellent security with ANPR barriers. You can hear road noise in the distance but not intrusive. Facilities clean and tidy.

Warden couple also helpful and busy on the site keeping everything as it should be.

Thank you for a brief but pleasant stay. Will come again if needing to stay in the area.

I actually own my own camp site and will recommend this one to others.

Stayed in campervan for two nights. Greeted on arrival and details checked. Taken to camping area and told where to find facilities. Toilet and shower blocks clean. Laundry room with washing machine, dryer, washing up sinks and small freezer for ice blocks only and microwave - open between 9.00a.m and 8.00pm. Was lucky to have electric hookup with water tap next to it, so didn't have to go far for water. Electric barrier to let vehicles out and number plate recognition to let you back in. I wouldn't call it a shop as such at reception, but there are a few bits available to buy in an emergency such as electric cable. Local area leaflets available. Didn't need help but suspect if anything needed, staff more than happy to help or advise. Warden on site. Clean and safe and quiet. Convenient as a base for local area. Would highly recommend.

Used this site twice now as a winter overnight before a ferry crossing. Tidy clean site with key pad entry for late night arrivals. Just about to book a short break there now.

Unpleasant. This campsite really has zero redeeming features. Staff blame everything on the elusive owners. The showers are cold. The rules are ridiculous.

You are not allowed to choose your own pitch. You have to stay in their pre designated pitch.

The shower/toilet block has underfloor heating, which is never on, or on so low it feels cold, & it's Nov/Dec time. It is cold. The shower water automatically turns off after 30 seconds, and to say the water was tepid would be extremely generous. So between the water being cold, turning off every few seconds and no or very little heating in the block, it meant showering was a daily miserable experience. Followed by a rapid retreat to the van to warm up. Ridiculous.

The male warden using the sinks in the ladies to wash his mugs (very slowly) and didn't even have the courtesy or common decency to leave, regardless of females entering to use the facilities. Plus the fact that the kitchenette and gents were right next door. Why?? Literally next door.

They provide washing machine however you are not allowed a washing line on your pitch. You must use the one and only communal line. I was asked to remove my portable rotary washing line and use the one provided, which had just been completely filled by the wardens themselves on the one and only nice day of weather in at least a week. The male warden then had a good old gawp at my smalls.

Chemical waste is disposed of down a designated toilet at the waste point. It's not the cleanest or easiest way to dispose of waste, but it works, I suppose.

The site, in general, just gives a very bad vibe and an uneasy feeling of always being watched or spied on. We couldn't wait to leave.
