Liked: We loved this site - simple yet spotless and really, really peaceful. A lovely ambience in a stunning part of Hampshire, we arrived on Friday evening to a cheery sign telling us to pick our pitch and let the manager know which pitch we were on.
We'd already been in touch to get a recommendation for fish & chips - quick response and a great recommendation started our weekend break off perfectly.
We visited the local community run store up the road on Saturday morning, got some fresh local goodies as well as fresh coffee - what a treat!
The pitches are level and really well laid out, distanced from others by banks of wild flowers and great size pitches so you can just really relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility.
The showers and loos were really clean and shower had great pressure with hot water.
Our kids didn't want to leave and although we were only here for two nights, it felt like we'd been away for a week. We visited Danebury Hill Fort nearby for a good walk and amazing views, highly recommend while you're in the area.
Thanks to Clare for all her help and good tips for the local area.

Liked: Great little site. Good-sized pitches carved as little nooks out of a stunning wildflower meadow. Fire pits available; a short drive from beautiful Stockbridge for boutique shops, coffee and restaurants. Several pubs within a short drive; great walks along the River Test and cycling through picturesque Hampshire villages lanes or Test Way cycle route. I found toilet facilities very clean and sanitary. Highly recommended.

Liked: The site is very relaxed but in a good way. Clare the owner made us feel very welcome and infromed us about the local area. She came round daily to check we were OK.
Large pitches set in a beautiful meadow.
Toilet and shower very clean and had hot water.
Great clear skies at night amazing for star gazing.
Good location for local attractions.

Liked: My stay was to see how I would cope with camping with my 1 year old son. The owner of the campsite, Clare, was absolutely fantastic! She messaged me prior to my stay stating that if we needed any support then to let her know. On arrival there's a simple 'set up and text' to let them know you have arrived. Once set up Clare also came round to see us and make sure all was ok, she then reiterated the earlier point if messaging if there is anything needed ☺️ absolutely wonderful service. The site itself has amazing pitches which are large and well spaced out, it felt very private. The facilities themselves are just what you need with make and female toilets with showers and also offer a sizable family shower room. There are also portaloos at the other end of the field for those a little further away from facilities. All in all a very good experience. Highly recommended ☺️

Liked: Lovely spacious site with large tent pitch areas which are in the main flat & level
Clean showers with lots of hot water
Short walk or drive to excellent pubs and food shop

Disliked: Fellow campers who can't clean up behind themselves and have no respect for other people or their property. Was such a peaceful and clean site until the "weekend brigade" turned up!

Liked: Peaceful field with wild flowers. Facilities were well looked after and perfect our needs. Claire and Ethel were brilliant. Walks around the area were lovely. A couple of shops and pubs within walking difference. If you want a busy night life then this is not the place. If you want to relax and unwind it is perfect.

Disliked: That we had to go home

Liked: Pitches are so well thought out, tents are not on top of each other - gives you a super relaxing stay. The showers and toilets are always clean and I had lovely hot showers. Not to mention the beautiful view we could see from our tent. The owner come round to give us a warm welcome, with lots of tips and local dog walking recommendations for our Labrador. Freezer for ice packs which is handy for non electric campers like us. Really friendly campsite, we’ll be sure to return next year. Thanks so much!

Disliked: Absolutely no complaints
