A place of quite beauty hidden by urban development. The people who run the site are eager to help and offer advice. The facilities are excellent in comparison to many other campsites. It has adequate parking. Close to Lakeside and other shops it offers you a quiet and serene place to rest between travels.

This is a scout campsite, that I didn't even know existed until a couple of weeks ago, and yet only half a mile from home. In regards to the site, flat open land, with a decent toilet block and plenty of space. Added bonus is when my daughter camps for the first time with Brownies, etc, she is only a couple of minutes away for piece of mind.

Nice site, need to be careful of the trenches on the woodland paths as one of our party dislocated their ankle due to falling in one.

Lovely camping site, the loos are very useful and well maintained and having a wheelchair accessible toilet and shower was a godsend!
