Just had a two night stay, only a 45 minute drive from our home but wanted somewhere close to try out our new tent, we found this site to be a great little site for what we needed, we where greeted and shown to our pitch by the owner, and we had a great pitch with electric hook up and water supply right by our tent. Shower and toilets where clean and tidy. Great on site cafe which do a amazing breakfast and fantastic service.
There is noise from the main road but it's not a issue as when you look on the map of the location before booking the site you can see its just off the main road so you have to expect some noise. Overall this is a great little site and we will return in the future.

Liked: This was easy to locate, perfect location for shops & local amenities. Was the perfect location for us to travel into Chester as well as Wales & surrounding area. The site was ideal for us to pitch up on, it was clean & well lit. There were lots of families with younger children on the tent pitches but it was not noisy at all & they all seemed well behaved. The site was dog friendly and our pitch (no 10) was ideal for our puppy & older dog as there was plenty of room to tether them up. We will visit this site again.

Liked: We as a family really enjoy visiting this site the people who run it are lovely the site was quite and relaxed vibe when we visited other guests on site was friendly, the site is an excellent base camp to lots of other places to visit a short drive away as it is located right next to motorway so can get to Chester, Wales, Liverpool, Manchester quite easily. We loved our stay and actually booked to go again in another 2 weeks we will always stay here now.

Liked: This was our first camping trip together and was quite unsure what to expect. The friendly introduction on the Friday afternoon reassured us and settled some nerves. We loved the tent pitches hugely spacious, tidy and clean and most importantly very flat! Facilities were amazing, easy to access all within a 1 minute walking distance. Our little dog Cora had the time of her life. Usually she is very anxious and shy but enjoyed her time there and slept alot better than at home. We also left our chairs and table out whilst we went to Llandudno for the day and came back with everything still there. We are already looking at next year dates to book again with friends.

Disliked: There wasn't a thing here to complain about other than the Friday night. A bunch of young adults were rowdy and drunk. Which isn't the touring parks fault. The next night they were well behaved.

Liked: Location was great for visiting Chester Zoo which was the purpose of the visit. It's right off the motorway, so its easier to find, services close by (Subway, Greggs, Starbucks), very close to Costco, and 5 mins to Designer Outlet supermarkets and restaurants.
Site itself was ok. Price was average. Pitches were a bit muddy tbh. Especially the one we were assigned.

We didn't get a chance to use the on site cafe.

Disliked: Pitches 1-3 bit muddy, not grassy enough. Pitches 4-6 looked better. Toilets were small and basic bit could be cleaner. No play area for kids. Close to main roads means traffic can be a bit noisy if you're sensitive to that. WiFi cut out every morning.

This is a very small campsite. We stayed for 2 weeks and it is very quiet, we enjoy a bit of peace and quiet at our age. The pitches are serviced and well maintained. The site is central to many locations. We even had a trip to Llandudno which is only about an hour away. The toilet block is basic but does the job. We would definitely come back again in the future.

Liked: Easy to find. Access to the site was fine. Very quiet site with others on site keeping themselves to themselves although friendly nods etc. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Site road was full of potholes. We had rain for one day of our stay and the road became deep in water which took ages to clear including the access area to the toilet block. The block was clean but no privacy to wash. WiFi, although advertised as available, was poor at the top end of the site where we were situated. Two major roads run passed the site and the road noise was always observable.

Liked: Friendly welcome at check-in. Passcode entry security gate made us feel our van was safe. The site is small, but well spaced and tidy. The toilet block was warm, modern, clean and well appointed (though the soap dispenser in the men's toilet was empty). The bus stop (hourly service) into Chester was opposite (costing £2.50 per adult single). It was a £12 cab ride home from Chester which is reasonable considering. The on-site cafe where we enjoyed a full cooked breakfast was fantastic (as were the staff working there). The price was competitive, and included water and EHU which both worked perfectly. Also a very level pitch.

Disliked: Whilst rural, the only slight downside was that the site does adjoin a reasonably busy main road; and is close to traffic lights. So through the night we did hear - albeit damply - traffic noise and particularly heavy traffic slowing and speeding up at the lights. A small quibble and didn't trouble us. Certainly doesn't change our overall view that this is an excellent site. But worth mentioning for some.
