Super campsite, ideal for motorhomes, 17 level pitches both gravel & grass, some with hook-up & water. Excellent disposal facilities, drive over grid for grey water. Toilet but no shower (or hot water for washing). Great location just outside Penrith.

This is a good motorhome campsite, one toilet in a small shed type building, excellent drive over grey water disposal, very good cassette emptying point. There are 17 pitches around the perimeter of the site and a grass area in the middle for pitches without hookup. Price reasonable.

Beautiful little site. Immaculate. Very friendly welcome and the cutest loo with a view 😍. Will definitely be back.

Lovely location and good pitch size for tents. Allocated pitch was nice as had lots of space around and a picnic bench. No showers and only 1 toilet in a shed - it was clean but with other people using the toilet we did have to wait a bit for the loo in the morning. Better for motorhomes.

A very nice Caravan and motor home site. Perfect for a stopover over or longer. We stayed 4 Nights quiet at night and during the day. 10 amp EHU. With water tap on each pitch. Elsan disposal point and drive over waste water. Disposal. Toilet on site. Penrith town centre only minutes away in car plenty of parking in Penrith . Even had a visit from the ice cream man. Highly recommended.

The dog and I spent one night here on our Land's End to John O'Groats cycle tour in June 2021. Such a lovely quiet, clean campsite with clipped grassy areas and a feeling of peace about it. There are no showers but I had a collapsible bowl and managed a nice basic strip wash in the tent which was perfectly fine for one night. The views out to the fells in the distance were lovely and we were very lucky with our neighbours - everyone just enjoying the peace and quiet. I would stay here again :)

A lovely little gem of a campsite. Low number of pitches meaning a nice quiet evening. Toilet was clean as were other facilities.

Would recommend the addition of electric for tent pitches to add a level of comfort and convenience but the rest of the site made this a non issue

Gorgeous little place with beautiful surroundings situated not far from Penrith and Ullswater. Very basic however kept clean and tidy by the owners who are very friendly and pop along to make sure everyone is enjoying their stay. My kids loved it and we will be sure to visit again in the future.
