Great location in the middle of a wooded area. The other campers were all very considerate. The shower and toilet facilities were of a high standard. The kids loved the freeness of being able to run in the woods and for me the camp fire in the evening was wonderful.
I would recommend fox wood campsite

A great stay for three nights in August. Very warm welcome and good information on the camp. Choice of pitches for our three families, so we could make our own layout but still reasonably away from other pitches.
A great relaxed atmosphere to the site from the team and the campers. Kids had a great time in a safe environment.
Facilities for washing up and showering were of a good standard and clean.
Not expecting luxuries, so would recommend to anyone who enjoys a simple camp pitch.

Beautiful campsite. Staff were friendly and helpful. Campsite is in agorfeous location, all the pitches are set out well so you have space and aren't on top of each other. Amazing place to go.

Fantastic family camp site. Stayed for the weekend with our 2 year old, 3 month old and our dog we all had a fab time. Great facilities and lovely plots, would be great for large groups too!

Fox Wood was recommended to us and it did not let us down.
The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. We were made to feel welcome and at ease as soon as we arrived.
The site is beautiful and has a variety of spaces for you to camp in.
The fire pit denotes your pitch but there is so much variation that it does not dictate where you set up.
Who knows where we will pitch next time...
Beautiful campsite, beautiful people.

What a fantastic site! A beautiful, family friendly campsite with lovely owners. A gorgeous setting in the woods with some lovely wildlife. Unfortunately, we had to leave early as we got completely washed out by the weather but we will be heading back. The facilities were great: clean toilets, clean showers and inside and outside washing up areas. The woods themselves were very peaceful. We would highly recommend this campsite despite our unlucky visit in the only rain of the summer.

Absolutely magical weekend. As a family, we cannot recommend this site enough: friendly hosts, no cars amongst the campers (which is wonderful because the children can literally run free); generous sized pitches, clean shower and toilet facilities; small site shop containing the essentials, toasting marshmallows on real campfires; rope swinging; woodland walks AND the circus was in town!! Three generations have made some long lasting memories here, we are reeeeeally looking forward to our 7th (might be 8th!) visit next year :0)

We are returning for our third visit and it is very much the peace and quiet and family orientation that appeals and draws us back. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, plenty of opportunity for walks and bike rides, and the beaches are within an easy drive.

Update - the toilets have been upgraded to flushing ones which, together with the hot showers, are a welcome touch of normality for those looking for an “almost wild” experience. We had another great week.
