Only managed to stay for one night as it was fully booked. I can understand why! Great spacious site with plenty of room. Peaceful and out of the way of the busy main roads. Excellent facilities with braziers, washing areas, open top showers and even the composting toilet! It's an experience 😂. Bernie hosts a great site and I'll certainly be going back 👍

A very peaceful and quiet campsite. We had a great 3 nights last week with excellent weather!
“Sprout” the lovely big camp cat was so friendly and affectionate.
Lovely warm showers and so much space, we will certainly be back.

Just back home from a week at The Old Vicarage - such a fab place! The whole place has a really relaxed, chilled out atmosphere - there are no check in/out times as the site is massive so there is always plenty of pitch space, even when it's fully booked as it was on a couple of nights during our stay. Because there is so much space between pitches it stays quiet and peaceful at night - even when people are up chatting/playing music the sound doesn't really carry.

The toilets were fine (clean, didn't smell at all and never had to wait) and the showers were hot 90% of the time. There's a freezer for ice packs and a little USB charger port in the shed for phones etc. The fire braziers are brilliant - when the sun goes down the sight of all the little fires burning around the site is lovely.

The no cars on site policy makes it fab for kids - they can race around and play safely and you can see them from anywhere on site.

We opted for this place as a replacement getaway as we should have been at a festival, and it was a great choice - it definitely has that festival, laid back feel but with nice hot showers and peaceful night times!

Large open field with lots of space between pitches. No cars in camping field which makes for a very quiet experience. Basic facilities which is why we chose this site. Composting toilets, outdoor showers with great water pressure and perfect temperature. Outdoor washing up station. Everything spotless. Cooking braziers on each pitch for keeping warm and cooking on. Wood for sale with an honesty box in a small shed with lots of local information on the walls. Very well run and organised. Would most definitely recommend and would return without question.

I don't actually like camping, but my mate had just bought a massive new tent he wanted to try out and so I booked this place. It's in a nice location, a large, well-kept field with plenty of room and parking, close to a road but not so close it's noisy/busy. Well placed for Norwich/Coast/Boating on the Broads etc. There were quite a few people there when we arrived and I was concerned there might not be enough toilets etc on site, but it was fine. The composting bogs are fine to use and not stinky (just don't look down) and the open-top showers good. Relaxed atmosphere, there are braziers on-site with wood available so you can have your own bbq/campfire action. Only downside was on the 2nd day a massive noisy group set up camp right next to us, but obviously that's not the owner's fault and you can't predict that! Recommended if you like to camp it up :)

This is one of those little gems of a campsite. A relaxed atmosphere, created by the owner, with facilities that consider the environment and surroundings.
The braziers are brilliant to cook on and make a wonderful change from camping gas hobs and horrid disposal bbqs!

Lovely campsite specifically designed for tents only. Bernie has the legendry wheel barrows to cart your camping gear from the car park to your pitch. Supporting small fires with griddles, they are ideal for cooking on in the evening. Ecofriendly facilities and a freindly welcome provided.

This is a great affordable campsite. In a lovely area. The toilet facilities are really nice and the showers are good also.

Been twice now and it's a great time.
I love Sprout. Kindest cat ever
