This was our second stop on our year uk tour. We have come from an expensive site so was unsure what to expect for our £10 bargin per night. The site is small but beautiful and has a feel of France. Surrounded by absolutely amazing walks and an abundance of wildlife, you may even see a badger! not to mention the Welsh pony's on site hen's and ducks. The facilities aren't top of the range but you get a hot shower for as long as you want...what more do you need really? Matlock and Bakewell are a must visit. Free range eggs just up the road on the left. The owner is pleasant and a character...luckily for us we could stay extra nights as our van broke down! A lovely place to stay and we will definitely be back im sure. 5*
We aim for all our sites to be £10 per night for the year so please follow us on facebook "travel monkey's" if you are looking for the same ❤

We arrived today for a 5 night stay. We set up on the grass pitch and the electric sockets were nearby.As we have our own toilet and make do re ;
Covid 19 ====shower, we only need the Elsan point and fresh water which are also near.The site seems well looked after and surely nobody can complain at only £11 INC ELECTRIC.We are meeting up with my daughter and going to some places of interest whilst here.

Great to store a caravan at. Very basic to stay over. We didn't risk the shower but did use the toilet. We needed a cheap overnight site and this did the job. Lovely walk around the woods and reservoir just along the road

Very basic holiday park but also very cheap. Lovely walk to the nearby reservoir and the unusual church clock. My daughter especially liked the nearby horses.

Three night stay on this lovely quiet site. Great for a base when visiting Chatsworth/Bakewell etc. Nice walks in the area. Basic shower and toilet with lots of hot water. Our second visit and won’t be the last.

This is a very well tended site, set well back from the road with power, water & a shower. However it's small. Probably the smallest area (for a CL) that we've stayed on in the last 3 years. So, for us, there's little privacy, we haven't sat outside in the 4 days we've been here, because we would only be a matter of a few feet from the next vehicle. Cars with caravans park opposite their vehicle because there is little enough space alongside. It's only £12, in the height of the season, so maybe the lack of space could be seen as reflected in the price. We'd probably have been happier paying a bit more for more privacy. Helpful woman running the patch. Lovely, friendly chap offering historical information. Take a walk to the reservoir if you stay here, it's really worth a look.

This is a well kept area, with a shower/toilet etc. Lovely location. But small. There's very little room between campers/caravans, so privacy is compromised. Probably the smallest area CL we've been on. But this is reflected in the price, only £12 a night. Great walk to Lineacre Reservoir.
