Locksters Pool camping

Just back from here such a fantastic location a real gem. The pitches are spacious with fire trivet which is brilliant. The river access is a bonus too, lovely walk about the farm to the old railway and ancient Oak tree. Portaloos clean and very usable, didn’t get to use the showers but then why when camping for one night? Hosts helpful, approachable and full of great chat. Thanks Yvonne and Richard, hopefully be back soon.

First camping and kayaking trip and it was perfect. Friendly, helpful hosts, clean facilities, quiet and plenty of room on the plot. The views are stunning with easy access to the river. Short trip upstream to the local pub with access from the river. A day out down stream surrounded by nature and a friendly local taxi back to base. Couldn't ask for more really, highly recommended.

Great camping on the river wye. Yvonne the host was so helpful and accomdating. I loved the firepits at each pitch. Able to launch kayak from site. Basic facilities on site, toilet, shower and wash up area but enough for us. Working farm. X

Stunning riverside location as a base for a 2 day canoeing trip down the Wye. Our pitch was great, spacious and kept well. All the pitches had a great view of the river. Fire-pits fabulous and quality wood available at a reasonable price. The site facilities are spotless if basic. The hosts were very helpful.

Yvonne and Richard run an amazing camp with very impressive amenities. They were so friendly and welcoming and made the whole experience that bit much more fantastic. X The site is a beautiful site with access to the beautiful river. They are on hand for any information I will miss them. Fantastic views and surroundings full of nature it has been a truly wonderful experience. Just spent 3 nights here over August bank holiday with friends. The place is a beautiful spot right by the Wye which is a terrific swimming spot. The owners do not crowd the visitors in and all pitches and rougher camping spots (except 1) have a river view. The owners are very attentive and pay a lot of attention to detail in managing the site in terms of cleanliness and landscaping.
Personally I found it bit of a long walk from our far pitch to the loos and feel that there could be two more showers made available but overall though the place is fabulous.

Had an absolutely lovely couple days down on the river camping wit my partner. stunning pitches with amazing attention to detail. the owners are lovely people and are super friendly, couldn't recommend enough. If you want a quiet get away and surround yourself in the beautiful country side that is Herefordshire. this is the campsite for you.

Had a lovely time over the bank holiday weekend. The pitches are immaculate and the owners Yvonne and Richard are so welcoming and friendly. The location of the camp site runs alongside the river Wye so perfect for swimming and paddle boarding..
We will 100% be back!!!!
