Lovely little site! Beautiful area! Friendly site owners! Kids loved the walks! No facilities, but most of caravaners have their own anyway. Electric hook-up, water refill and elsant points. Hard standing and grass. Grass was a bit soggy but with couple dry days in a row it got better. Very narrow road leading up to the site through small town, with cars parked all over the road. Lovely pub though in that town, serving good beer and giant portions of delicious food! George hotel it is called, just opposite the church. Easy to get to Bakewell and other touristy destinations from the campsite. We'll be returning again! ❤

Beautiful site situated amongst gorgeous scenery. Some pitches a but uneven, would book a hard standing next time. Downside...the approach to the site is horrendous, through Youlgreave village. Parked cars so had to weave in and out and quite a steep hill. We timed our departure before the locals woke up and the village got moving.

Stayed for 4 nights in our tent with our kids and dog, wish it could have been longer. We took our toilet/shower tent as they make it very clear on the website and while booking that there are no facilities. We all loved the campsite, the staff and the location. They do a fantastic job keeping the site looking its best and has a nice play area for the kids. Also has a great little area to walk the dog. We used the shop and it had all the basics. Thank you for having us and we'll definitely be back.

This is a lovely site, extremely well-kept and with the most beautiful views. No toilet/shower block but that's fine with us as we are well used to staying on CS and CL type sites. Yes, the road access isn't the easiest and would probably be intimidating for novice caravanners but not that bad, I've certainly used more difficult, both in this country and abroad. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning.

I would give this site 5 stars if it had normal club site facilities like toilets, showers and hot water for laundry and dishes. The property is immaculate. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The setting is lovely. But why can't the farmer, C&C Club or whoever controls the site, implement more facilities like other sites, quite nearby? There must be a way! Access is down very narrow lanes but there were dozens of caravans and motor homes on the site so they coped. I guess some people get satisfaction from being able to use their private ensuite facilities. They are welcome, given the astronomic cost. I coped perfectly well with a bucket.

Wonderful and peaceful site set on a beautiful hillside. Lots of walks straight from the site and not far to nearby village with pubs and shops. Very helpful and friendly site managers make it a great stay every time we visit.

Beautiful site, plenty walks to be done, fab scenery. No amenieties. I would not recommend if you have a large caravan or motorhome as the access to the site can be horrendous due to narrow roads and tight bends. We were told the site was originally for tents/hikers and the access to the site has never changed to accommodate.

I have seen bad reviews for Bakewell due to the access road in. Well by the amount of caravans (the majority) and a number of motorhomes and campervans, it can't be that difficult. The wardens were exceptionally friendly and a real laugh. The location surrounded by beautiful countryside too.
We walked to the local Farmyard Inn for a meal and drinks and that was great as well. We would definitely return.
