Attending a wedding here this weekend. Absolutely beautiful in every way. The bride even told me how they had altered things (big things, such as the bars location within the barn!) to accommodate their wants and wishes. Genuinely beautiful location and couldn't have asked for more.

Caravan and Motorhome Club certificated site just outside Ugborough. Literally 5 minutes from A38, you think you are in the middle of nowhere. Really friendly and helpful owners with great facilities - toilet, shower and dishwashing facilities all well looked after. Fresh eggs and juice for sale. Great place to stay for short weekend break or longer.

Great interaction with Jane to check availability, make the booking and pay. Good directions to the site which you need to take note of. Huge area. Much space. Great wild meadow with grass around the pitches cut and trees around the edges. A bit of a walk to the washroom, but that was no problem. Washroom is not large, but it is clean and well equipped. You need 20p coins for shower, but 1 gives 3 minutes, 2 gives 6 minutes. Can be windy outside because the site is on top of a hill and quite exposed, but then so is Dartmoor and many open areas in Devon. No light pollution so you get a terrific view of the sky at night. Well located for Dartmoor and some great beaches like Bigbury and Mothecombe. We'd love to go back. We stayed on pitch 4 right in the corner under the shade of a large tree.
