Nice campsite with good views.
Well kept and clean toilet and shower block.
Some pitches have electric hook up and fire pits available.
Cracking little bar on the site with plenty of picnic tables around the site.
Close enough to the Tissington trail to walk straight to it from the site.
Close to a main road so some road noise didn't bother us.

Great site, not too big, good location, staff friendly. Facilities were spot on, very clean and bar on site is a bonus. Bit windy on day we arrived but owners cannot control the weather. Reason only 4 stars, shop, although small had little stock in for the weekend. Will return as its a great base to stay to visit surrounding attractions.

This was our second stay at Banky Barn . This is a friendly family run site . There is a modern shower block which is kept exceptionally well cleaned . The site its self is very well maintained . There are pitches for caravans and tents both with or withoou electric hook up . Prices are reasonable . There is a new ladyy in the office and we found her to be very pleasant and helpuful . Well done . 5 Stars . Keep up the good work . Hope to see you again soon .

Absolutely dreadful weekend. We had a noisy party shouting, screaming and playing football until 7am Saturday morning and then 2am Sunday morning. The owner did nothing. Spoilt it! Real shame as its a beautiful spot

What a great site in a superb location.
Lovely staff, great walks and great facilities.

But it was ruined by One owner in a Camper Coach who looked like he lived there. He had 3 loose Dogs, Two large ones, bounding around all over the place, toileting anywhere also.
My Wife spoke to the Dog owner and just received abuse.

We complained 3 times in total to the Warden, as did others, but even with prompt action taken by the warden, nothing changed.
It’s pointless complaining if nothing changes.

Holiday ruined, we left a day early due to the above, and the heatwave.
Such a shame the site could not manage said camper.

Were it not for that owner and Dogs, we would have had a great time, best check if the dog owner is still there before you book !

A really nice back to basics camp site with really clean and well presented toilets and showers that have hot and cold water at all times. Focused on adults as there's no park but there is a small bar on site so perfect

Bare in mind we visited midweek at the end of October (£15 October discount, normally £23 per night for 2 people sharing). Shower facilities nice, although could do with some extractor fans in there - nearly couldn't find my way out after a shower, it was like gorillas in the mist!). Grass all short. Views really nice. Pitches 12 & 13 possibly a tad small (should be 1 pitch really). Staff lovely. Bar onsite (but not open when we visited), could get noisy during peak times (guessing here). Fires allowed (it's why we chose this site over others), but keep them off the ground and on top of paving slabs. All in all a nice, well kept place. YouTube review video coming soon....
