Great location for popping into Oxford. Hardly slept the first night due to being next to the train line and warehouses but asked to move the following day and the wardens were very nice and allowed us to move 6 pitches along. Where we didn't hear the trains hardly at all. The facilities smell and look to have been the original from the 70s.
Staff were lovely. Site clean and well maintained. Poor facilities - why are the dishes sinks next to the chemical toilet waste area!

Great site for visiting the local area. Staff were amazing when we were running a bit late. Everything was spotless, showers were my most favourite part, not having to keep pressing the button was a biggest plus point!! Found the site to be clean and quiet.

What a good site staff were very helpful and friendly, a small city site with clean amenities minimal noise from the train line that runs adjacent to site otherwise a quite city site, just a short bus ride to beautiful Oxford city centre and a 30 to 40 minute walk . We will be back.

Dismal. One of the most expensive sites we've stayed on in the UK and second worst. Hugely disappointing. Pitch was fine but everyone crammed in. Area next to pitch was a dumping ground for waste. Train noise annoying. Industrial unit smashing around at 7am on a Sunday morning. Toilets and showers were clean, but the smell from the waste (assume septic tank) is rancid. Entrance past go outdoors is awful first impression. If we hadn't already paid we would have left. Location is not worth the price. Staff generally friendly

Compact and four square. Occasional train noise. Very handy for busses. Park and Ride five minutes walk away so no need to use the “Park”. Accepted local bus pass. Entrance quite strange, alongside Camping store. Do not overshoot as I did; took over an hour to negotiate extensive traffic jam to get back for second attempt since whilst towing there was nowhere to turn round. Very pleasant staff. Pair of swans with four cygnets on adjacent stream. Could hear the owl at night. Some pitches not level but I managed without blocks. 10 amp hook-ups so you get a list of consumption figures some of which were slightly under rated. (An 800 watt microwave appliance takes 1275 watts to run it, not 1000). The “Friendly Club “ is well named. Highly recommended.

Great location for Oxford just a shame it's a bit tired really. Pitches are all over the place so finding a level is impossible. Staff great but a little pedantic over where to pitch. Showers etc clean but ready for a refurbishment. It's the location that makes it.....

A gem of a site just on the outskirts of Oxford. A very warm welcome by the site wardens. A quick jump on the park and ride into Oxford or a peaceful walk there if you enjoy a walk.

Big thank you to the wardens for such a super welcome.

Location is everything here. Around a 1 mile walk to the Oxford City center. We can also launch our kayaks into the stream insight to access the Thames and Cherwell rivers.
