Clayford field camping

Liked: Great place to stay! The facilities were great and in good condition.
When we stayed it was quiet so we had tonnes of space and it was extremely peaceful. Great security with a coded gate entrance. Dog friendly!!

Disliked: Nothing! This fitted our purpose perfectly. It would have been good to have a shop a little closer but there was plenty nearby within driving distance

Liked: Directly off the A31 down a 2 mile gravel track. A field surrounded by forest. Able to pitch anywhere, all sheltered spots were taken as it was busy but still plenty of room. Lots of excellent walks, tracks and trails to choose from. I met the owners son who was doing some maintenance, he was very friendly. The toilets and showers were kept tidy and clean. 2 toilet blocks, 2 showers and 2 washing up sinks. It was never busy.

Disliked: My only gripe was dogs off leads.

Absolutely loved this spot. Great chilled off grid spot with a lovely atmosphere and great sunset skies. Sam who runs it is super lovely and keeps the place clean and tidy. Simple set up with Loo's and shower but its all you need. Great stay here over a long bank holiday weekend.Thanks Sam.

Liked: The site is a huge grassy field and you can camp anywhere. We stayed 4 nights and there were between 3 and 7 tents / small campervans on the site so tons of space.
Site entry is by a security code so feels very safe.
I texted the site managers to let then know about something that needed fixing and it was sorted the same day.

Liked: Lovely site no problem finding a nice pitch. Facilities clean and well maintained. Nice quiet site plenty of areas to enjoy a good walk. Lovely for dogs. Couldn't fault the site eould recommend.

Disliked: Road leading to site is more of a track but as long as you're careful driving it's OK.

Liked: We booked last minute and it was flawless.

There’s a security gate which I liked travelling with a child.

This was a nice quiet spacious site. Washing up facilities were all we used. They were adequate.

Liked: Cheap, basic facilities. Great location for plenty of walks and cycle rides. Quiet.

Disliked: Only grumble would be it was difficult to find. Satnav wanted to take me down a bridle track

Liked: We come to the campsite at night we was so excited to be there everything was lovely toilet. Was clean was toilet papier inside even hand sap was in 🥰communication with Sam was also very good very nice pleace definitely come back there !!!
