Mill Paddock Campsite

Lovely little site, owner brilliant and good fun. Simple facilities but does the job. Near a stream for a paddle and close to Wareham and tourist sites.

Mill Paddock is a great campsite. Myself and my parter have just returned from a 5 night camping trip. The pitches are not marked and are very spacious on level ground. The owner Paul is really friendly and helpful with some great tips on where to visit in the local area. The campsite has all the facilities you need, covered washing area with hot water and fridge freezer. Separate showers and toilets for men and women. Although basic they are well maintained and clean (and free!). Great site for families too as plenty of space for children to play. Paul also allows off ground campfires and Bbqs. He also had these available to hire if you don’t have your own which is a massive bonus. Nightly rates are really reasonable with the added option for electric hook up.
The location is brilliant to explore Dorset, very short distance to some amazing coastal spots and beaches. We would definitely recommend and would stay again.

I am the chairman of the Purbeck campers club we stayed at mill paddock last weekend.
The site is lovely the grass had been cut short and the ground is level.
The toilets and showers on site were very clean and in good working order
The owner was very sociable and came to make sure everything was ok .
We have already booked to stay again in February next year .

From what we could see behind the closed doors, it looked great. As i checked online it was open and had availability but when ww came there it was closed and the owner recommended a nearby camping site, which we were greatful for

Brilliant campsite and Paul looked after us wonderfully! This is a place we will continue to visit for years to come!
