Liked: What an amazing quirky place this is. As soon as we pulled up we were greeted by Jan on reception that showed us several options to pitch up. Loved the whole camp set up with the quirky leather seats and fire pits. Amazing food too.

Disliked: Probably a dislike would be the fact of not having showers or at least a washing area to give yourself a freshen up. I was totally aware of this before booked up so wasn't expecting any to be available.

Liked: Quirkiness of the site. Friendly staff. Food van with delicious burgers. Bar was well priced. Very sociable with the sofas scattered around and optional fire pits. Great live music on the Saturday night which we hadn’t expected. Lovely atmosphere and setting with the canal running down one side.

Disliked: Not disliked as knew before we arrived but no shower facilities which would make this a perfect site.

Liked: Lovely campsite. Well stocked farm shop. Food available on site. Quirky set up, with lots of outdoor sofas to sit and watch the world go by on. A bar on site with cocktails was fab. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. It was also great being able to watch the pigs and piglets within the site.

Disliked: The traffic noise throughout the night from the B4100, although not constant, was quite apparent.

Liked: Relaxed cheerful staff and approach to guests. The camping field was large and pitches mostly even but blocks required in some areas. The pigs were great fun and kept guests amused. On our visit there was a new litter of pigs just two weeks old. The pens were immaculate and pigs well cared for.
Catering truck serving great breakfast and food through the day. Bar open in the evenings.
Enjoyable stroll along canal.
Farm shop had basic supplies of produce and alcohol.

Disliked: Porta loos but they were kept clean so no problem.
No children after 6pm so not suitable for families

Liked: Fantastic stay. A great atmosphere on a querky site, made brilliant by all the staff, the pigs/piglets, the food van, the farm shop and the social facilities. We got to meet lots of other great guests who appeared to be enjoying the stay as much as we were. The breakfast from the van and the meat from the farm shop was amazing!

The festival toilets were perfectly adequate for our stay and cleaned regularly.

Disliked: Pitches are not very even but we easily coped, as the staff are so helpful.

The noise from the M40 can be heard but you get used to it - recommend you take some earplugs.

Liked: Great welcoming, very friendly staff. The farm shop, food trailer and bar were fabulous, I made use of all of them 🥴 loved the setup with the pigs being the main attraction. You could tell they were well looked after. Will definitely be back.

Disliked: No shower, but understand the reason why, would possibly have stayed longer if there was one.

Liked: Friendly staff, great shop, a cool little bar with draft beer and cider and cocktails. Didn't try the food van but looked good. This campsite has a bit if everything to make for a relaxing stay. Sofas with firepits by the canal and the pigs are very entertaining and not particularly smelly.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike

Visited as a canal visitor on a canal boat. Stopped at lunchtime for a few beers and a look at the farm shop. Been reading the neg reviews but we found all staff really nice. Spoke to the owner as well and found him very engaging. Clearly the usual half truth reviews and forced expectations resulted in verbal justification for the reviewers own misguided sake. A very poor form of communication to others.

It’s an honest place with staff doing their best to make it work. Yes it’s quirky and a bit bohemian and sure, it’s not for everyone but just because you didn’t like it or it didn’t meet your perceived expectations doesn’t make it wrong.

I personally loved the concept. If you go with no expectations you will leave happy. Judge the pig place on what it is, not what you think it should be.
