What a little gem, first time here and very impressed. Very well kept absolutely immaculate. Shower block is first class loads of room in the shower cubical with plenty of hooks and a great shower good temperature and flow. Great little shop on site and close to the lake and a easy walk in to Bala its self. We will go here again.

What an amazing caravan and camping site, I visited here frequently as a child and always had some amazing adventures on the nearby lake, We continued to stay here frequently before the pandemic and we returned again this year for the first time and just wow!

The site has always been the best campsite close to Bala but now it’s even better than ever before, the toilet / shower facilities have had an amazing rebuild and now put many hotels to shame.

The staff are great they are polite, welcoming, helpful and just all round awesome people.

I hope to visit again soon with the family for more happy memories.

Liked: Spotlessly clean. There is a shop on site you can even order fresh meat to be delivered that day for your barbecue 😋 the two ladies that run the place are lovely.
Great location 2 min walk to lake and Bala train station. Very peaceful site. Dog friendly.

Disliked: Not a dislike but nothing on site for small children maybe that's why it's so quiet 🤔

The shower here is the best, great toilet block which is brand new, and washing up area. Good size pitches, very clean and well presented, unfortunately on our pitch there was a bit of road noise and there's not much that can be done about it. Unfortunately the gardener's started cutting the hedge with petrol hedge trimmers very close by at 8am which is why I didn't give it the full 5*

Great campsite, 10 min walk into Bala. Lovely lady that runs the site, very helpful and always smiling. Toilets and showers are very clean as is the site in general. Nice level pitches and plenty of water taps. Highly recommended

Liked: This is a lovely site, one of the best we have stayed at. Beautiful setting and walks from the site. The new facility block was sheer luxury for a touring site, lovely and warm with toiletries in the showers. There is a small shop in reception and you can order fresh meat daily. It is a family owned site who were were very visible, helpful and friendly. They are upgrading the site, there are new large fully serviced pitches, some of the original hardstandings are narrow and awnings would be on the grass. There are 3 safari tents and 3 cabins with spectacular views, so family/friends can join you. When the new Lakeside paths are completed in the New Year Bala will be a go to destination. Make sure you book a table at ‘Old Wives Tales’ for a unique dining experience. There are other places to eat to town too and a cafe at the shoreside open 7 days a week.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Stunning site with spacious pitches and hotel like bathroom! loved the little touches like shampoo and conditioner provided and the underfloor heating was incredible. We took the short walk into town on both evenings and enjoyed some great food and scenery.

Liked: Very nice site and a really friendly welcome. The floor heating in the shower/toilet block is a really great. A bonus for me was discovering the Bala railway station so close to the camp :)
A short 15 minute walk to Bala town taking in the lake a view is hardly a chore. I highly recommended this site.

Disliked: Nobodys fault and it should really be considered as a plus for the future, but there was some work being done in updating/creating pitches.
